White House senior aide Jared Kushners multiple omissions on required financial disclosure forms for his security clearance would be a crime, punishable by prison for other people, Fox News host Shepard Smith said Thursday.
Apparently not in this case, Smith added.
The White House has implied that Kushners frequent revisions to his financial forms to provide information that was incorrect or missing have caused delays which have held up his security clearance, even though he works with an interim clearance that allows him to view classified information.
Two sources, however, also told CNN Thursday that Kushner will not obtain full security clearance until special counsel Robert Muellers investigation is complete.
Donald Trumps son-in-law submitted his application and did not include 100 contacts with foreigners, Smith said on Shepard Smith Reporting. He later had to go back and include them ... but he did not include the meeting in Trump Tower with the Russian lawyer and Russian translator. So that was another amendment to this thing.
Revisions made last July by Kushner, who is married to Ivanka Trump, added 77 previously undisclosed assets and more than $10 million in holdings.
Further additions were made as recently as last month, according to a letter obtained by Talking Points Memo. The letter to White House deputy counsel Stefan Passantino dated Jan. 3 added a number of additional business interests. It also corrected and added new corporate positions that Kushner was legally required to disclose in his initial paperwork.
A conviction for withholding, misrepresenting or falsifying information on the form for security clearance can result in up to $10,000 in fines and five years in prison.
Its really uncommon youd still be trying to get the form correct at this stage in the game,

People go to prison for trying to run people over with their car Shep-Shep.
Shepard Smith is an idiot.
Hillary Clinton is evidently not another person.
Wonder if Shep Sodomy Smith ever said that about Hillary, doubt it.
People go to jail for what Hillary did. So what?
I for one would be thrilled if the Prince and Princess returned to their NYC bubble. President Trump is at his best when he does things like that discussion directly with those who’ve been impacted by gun violence. Jared and Ivanka just don’t have that gene. JMHO
I don’t care for Smith at all but I still have many doubts about Kushner and I have a hard time trusting him
Was Shep this worried about worse violations in the Obama administration?
Did he ever express concern for the lack of clearances in the Obama WH?
Sometimes I wonder about the mental quality of those who listen to and believe him. And they are allowed to vote.
He is one of two people that make me boycott Fox. The other is the anchor Williams.
Name one Shemp. Name one.
You don’t need to trust him...... that’s the president’s decision.
Too much facial makeup causes brain cancer apparently....
Yes. I’ve gotten to the point where I mute the TV when Williams comes on - he’s such a complete, misinformed, biased jack-ass. I never mute Shep because I don’t turn him on in the first place.
One of the great mysteries of the universe is why Shepard Smith is on Fox. He should be hosting an alternative lifestyle mascara show on a public access cable channel somewhere.
But instead he’s anchoring the news for America’s #1 “conservative” network.

Should we open up old wounds? (Well, if they can do it to Roy Moore.... )

Reporter Jailed After Parking Spot Dispute
November 20, 2000|Associated Press
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. A Fox Network news anchor was arrested and accused of hitting another journalist with his car in an apparent dispute over a parking space.
Witnesses told police that Shepard Smith, who hosts “The Fox Report,” ran his car into Maureen Walsh, a journalist for a local cable network, when she tried to save a rare open parking spot for co-workers at the Capitol complex where the media are covering the Florida presidential vote recount.
Walsh was treated at a hospital for bruises on her legs and released.
Smith, 36, was charged with aggravated battery with a motor vehicle and released on $10,000 bail.
A Fox spokesman in New York, Robert Zimmerman, declined to comment.
Hey Shep, and people used to go to jail for doing what you do regularly. Ever heard of sodomy laws?
Exactly!
