What weapon of choice would the anti gun left use to take this guy out.
I imagine they’ll guard Scot Peterson far more effectively than Scot Peterson guarded that school.
Why do they need to guard him? Just declare his home to be a gun-free zone. Problem solved.

Still a good amount of confusion regarding the school:
-How many uniformed officers were assigned? I have heard 7 but cannot find official statements/documents
-How many Resource Officers? I have heard 2 but also cannot confirm
Have anything authoritative been released?
Sounds like an effort to defraud the government
If you’re a cop, don’t shoot.
Not worth it. Just do the minimum, retire and collect your pension.
If you do shoot, your brass won’t back you up, you’ll get crucified in the media, be hounded by the cop-hating Left and get indicted by the DA.
Just keep your head low and stay out of trouble.

Imagine that information being given to the parents. It won’t just be the former school guard needing police protection. This has gone from tragedy to farce.
I wonder if they will choose to hide if a distraught parent comes to the house.

That’s why so many cops are just secretaries with guns on their hips. A crime is committed, they show up, they take notes, they go away. That’s pretty much it. If you try to do more than that, the Liberals, the media, the union, and the politicians will have your head.
