On Thursday, CNN will host a town hall with President Obama as part of his “final-year push to make gun control part of his legacy.” In addition to sitting down with liberal anchor Anderson Cooper, the network says Obama will “take questions from the audience.”
Uh-oh. Get out your best pruning shears and trowels. In an age of micromanaged partisan stagecraft and left-wing media enablers, there is no such thing as a spontaneous question.
CNN has a long history of allowing political plants to flourish in its public forums.

They gave Hillary the debate questions in advance as well. She stil lost.
Nobody even asked her about her ethics in receiving them and practicing with them, did they?
How is this story posted today? It speaks of Obama’s final attempt to add gun control to his legacy? He’s been out of office for 1 year, 1 month and 2 days (but who’s counting?). Not long enough .. But there’s no way for him to further his presidential legacy to include gun control now.
Republicans need to get smarter. Why the heck would they appear on a CNN panel? I have no sympathy for them. Trump was smarter (as always). He brought them into the sanctity of the White House where they were hushed into behaving properly.

While aware of the issues discussed, I had not seen that thread. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
