This has been an idea I’ve thought was a good one for years.
Only the school administration and local police would know the identities of teachers who are authorized to conceal carry.
They would have to get initial training and follow on training every year before the school year started to include a mental examination by a qualified shrink.
Their ability to conceal carry at school would be pulled if it’s deemed they have depression issues or life crisis type of issues such as bitter divorce etc...
If they got their conceal carry in school privs pulled, that doesn’t mean that their state conceal carry privs would be pulled. Two separate issues and would be up to the states to decide things like that.
I support arming competent teachers 100% but I'm certain those who qualify, and accept the responsibility, will be doxxed by their Marxist counterparts, straight away. That shouldn't stop anyone but their anonymity can't be promised.

I would like to see firearm training and qualification/certification as a pre-requisite for anyone pursuing a degree in education and applying for a position in public education.
Institutionalize it. Take down the murderous no gun zone signs. Have teachers and staff working in schools who know how to safely carry and operate a firearm. The side benefit over time would be an appreciation and respect for our 2A rights that would influence students in a positive way.
Of course, that’s fantasy in today’s environment because the left owns academia.

As it stands, even THAT wouldn’t fix the FUBAR of GOVT run indoctrination centers. THEY have made this fish-in-a-barrel scenario. THEY infringed, THEY are liable for any/all that happens on their watch. THEY broke the law. THEY refused to inform the police. POLICE refused to do anything further...So let’s not it get turned around on the Citizen and their tools of choice.
That ‘divorce’ clause would affect men more than women.
Until some teacher accidentally 'prints', and the students realize they're armed.
Concealment is an imperfect practice, at best. Despite your best efforts, someone's eventually going to notice you're carrying.
