Setting aside Iran’s ballistic missile threats, support for terrorism and regional destabilization when crafting the nuclear deal was not a concession but “strategic thinking” on the part of the negotiators, former Secretary of State John Kerry said Sunday.
As he has done frequently since leaving office, Kerry used the opportunity of the Munich Security Conference to defend, at length, the Obama administration’s 2015 nuclear deal which President Trump has threatened to abandon.
Kerry said that the U.S. recognized that the agreement being negotiated was not dealing with other problematic issues, including human rights abuses, missiles, arms shipments, support for Hezbollah, and its interference in Iraq and Yemen.
Although those were legitimate concerns, he said, the decision to leave them off the agenda was taken “not as a concession, but as a matter of strategic thinking.”
Kerry characterized that thinking as arising from a realization that the George W. Bush administration’s approach — demanding that Iran stop all uranium-enrichment — had gone “nowhere,” and a recognition that the problem could not be resolved through a military option. …

What the Obama Administration kept secret from the American people, was that Iran's nuclear proliferation partner , North Korea, had perfected and scaled up uranium enrichment process independently giving Iran an imported source of weapons grade uranium from NK.
This, of course, makes the Obama Nuclear deal a completely useless fraud because weapons grade Uranium was no longer the limiting factor in both the Iranian and North Korean offensive nuclear weapons program.
What was needed was a huge infusion of cash fund the manufacturing and deployment , an end to international sanctions and the ability to purchase the high tech components, advanced materials, and precision manufacturing and instrumentation technology to build and deploy nukes weapons and ballistic missile delivery systems
This has been proved by huge, rapid advancements both North Korea and Iran have made in their nuclear weapons programs - all financed with Obama bucks provided by Kerry and Obama purchased on the open market with the end to economic sanctions and trade embargoes
Iran , of course, is being quiet about the advancements in its nuclear program l, but the Germans just exposed a huge Iranian nuclear weapons technology smuggling ring .
Iran has announced volume production of a copy of a very capable Russian nuclear tipped cruise missile and also volume production of the Lockheed RQ 170 drone they acquired during the Obama’s term in office. The RQ-170 is one of our most advanced stealth recon drones and it has a mission hardware bay large enough for a good sized nuclear warhead
