I think the meeting is about stopping these Federal Judges from playing their games with immigration.....forever. In other words, once the USSC rules, they cannot challenge it again and again which is what they have done.

Some of them must be very upset that the lower federal court is doing something so absolutely preposterous and contrary to the law.

You are probably right. There is a disturbing trend of politically motivated rulings from federal judges that are being used solely to block executive prerogatives. The USSC likely recognizes that the law is being subverted for politcal ends and will take action to halt these extra legal and intentional blockages.

If they don’t do this, legal and governmental chaos will ensue. They have to restore some semblance of judical restraint. Its been forced on them to do this.

Bump and totally agree. SCOTUS is going to tell all other courts to STFU regarding DACA. Exactly what they need to do.

Wish they’d do the same with President Trump’s orders to halt immigration from certain countries. We’re sitting ducks.

The SC already ruled against state meddling in immigration, in Arizona v US, when the governor proceeded to follow a local law that mimicked US immigration law. I don’t know how all these lower courts are getting around that recent ruling.

One can only hope that a few SC Justice are angry and are going to clamp down on these wayward activist lower court Federal judges and issue a ruling that prevents their sabotage of Trump's legitimate Executive orders.
