Former President Obama seemingly shamed his successor in a TWEET Thursday calling for stricter gun control laws in light of the nation's latest school shooting. 'We are grieving with Parkland,' Obama began. 'But we are not powerless. Caring for our kids is our first job. And until we can honestly say that we're doing enough to keep them safe from harm, including long overdue, common-sense gun safety laws that most Americans wants, then we have to change,' Obama said.
The ex-president made his comments on the heels of President Trump making his own statement, in which he never uttered the word 'guns'. Trump, speaking to the American people from the Diplomatic Reception Room, labeled the killing of 17 students and teachers 'terrible violence, hatred and evil' while calling for a change in the 'culture.' We must also work together to create a culture in our country that embraces the dignity of life, that creates deep and meaningful human connections, and that turns classmates and colleagues into friends and neighbors,' President Trump said.

Obastard is a total idiot. His city of Chicago has 17 killings EVERY day and they have the strictest gun laws in the nation. The phony rat mantra of gun control comes out after every nut job rampage. We mourn for the dead of these rare mass shootings but dozens die every day and we immortalize the mass murderer but forget about the families who suffer each and every day without their grief making headlines. I gave up reading newspapers a long time ago because of this. I gave up watching news coverage of these tragedies. Instead I mourn for all the anonymous families that suffer and people just don’t care about.
The Democraps have it in their head (even though most of them own guns) that tragedies are made for them to exploit to destroy our 2nd Amendment. The automobile is the biggest weapon in this country killing more people than anything else other than disease yet not a word of banning them or curing cancer which I believe is possible. More babies die as a result of abortion than guns and the lefties could care less.

And two of those years he had a veto proof majority. They could have passed a bill then.
Except for the licensure requirement, this is the very best policy for USA to minimize “gun violence” — 1000 time’s better than “gun control” which is a prescription for more and more helpless victims —-

If I ruled the world:
A good solution is to dig a very deep well/pit. If they capture them alive they get a fair and expeditious trial with limited appeals if they are found sane or signs of premeditation they are then tossed into that pit and left to die. If they are killed during the event, they are ground up and dumped into the pit.
Than have a big granite block inscribed with: “Here lie the damned”.
We already have a gazillion gun control laws. Obama should first explain what specific gun control laws he is recommending, and how his proposed laws would have stopped the murderer from murdering those defenseless kids and the teacher.
Short of that, he is merely propagandizing as usual.
