A bipartisan group of senators reached a deal on immigration Wednesday as President Trump attempted to preemptively undercut the proposal by delivering an ultimatum: Pass my plan or risk a veto.
The self-dubbed Common Sense Caucus of senators late Wednesday circulated legislation that would fulfill Trumps calls to grant legal status to 1.8 million young immigrants and would appropriate $25 billion for southern border security construction projects over the next decade not immediately, as Trump wants. Ouchie!
How about we hold up ALL congressional paychecks until the WALL is done & working? Staff—everyone. Even Supremes.
VETO the damn thing and revive Operation Wetback from the Eisenhower days immediately.”””
Actually I would like to see the Democrats reminded that TRUMAN started Operation Wetback, and Eisenhower continued it. But TRUMAN started it. They wanted to make sure that jobs would be available for all the returning military members who fought & survived WWII .
There is 1960 miles of that border. Redo the math, please.
With your numbers, that opens things up for 1,960,000 ‘Dreamers......WAAAAY too many.

I completely agree. But I’d bet we are getting more than that much amnesty and not getting nearly that much wall. And the wall will be delayed as long as the Ds can push it allowing millions more illegals in who will eventually get amnesty.
Unfortunately it looks like we get no wall or we compromise with a lot of amnesty. If someone can find a better way to get the wall I’d love to see it. If we have to compromise on this we should get the full wall ASAP with Dems cooperating instead of delaying.
If that crowd is for it, red flags should be up every where. Danger! Danger!
