Conservative actor Adam Baldwin pushed back Wednesday as many on the left—from Hollywood celebrities to political leaders—called for gun control in the immediate aftermath of the mass shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida.
“[Nancy] Pelosi again demanding gun control. Again, the shooter was stopped by people with firearms,” the actor tweeted.
“Schools need armed security and volunteer staff members with CCW,” he added.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi had tweeted that ‘enough is enough.’
“Too many of these instances take place across the country. As leaders, we have a moral obligation to prevent them and protect our communities. We need more than thoughts and prayers. #EnoughIsEnough,” she wrote.
Other celebs weighed in after the shooting, with comedian Chelsea Handler saying Republicans “have blood on your hands.”
“We have to elect candidates that are not funded by the NRA in November. We have an opportunity to elect candidates who won’t allow kids to go to school and get shot. It is disgusting how many times this has happened and Republicans do nothing. You all have blood on your hands,” she said on Twitter.
“No words, no actions, no laws are enough until we end this epidemic of school shootings in our country. My heart is with the students and parents of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School,” Ellen DeGeneres wrote.
Writer and producer Beau Willimon also blamed the GOP.
“When Will The @GOP Stop Being OWNED By The @NRA And FINALLY Do ANYTHING About #GunControl? Never. Their thoughts and prayers mean nothing. We must replace them all,” he said on Twitter.
“You want taxpayers to spend $25 billion for a wall that will do virtually nothing to keep us safer. Meanwhile you and your party take money from the @NRA to prevent common sense #guncontrol reforms that could actually save lives. Shame,” he responded to President Trump’s tweet expressing his condolences.
Just saw on Fox. There were security people on the grounds. One was killed by the shooter. He was licensed to carry but was PROHIBITED from doing so by law!
How could he and that useless piece of sh!t Alec Baldwin have come from the same womb?
How about WE start pushing back on Mental Illness?? IIRC, it was the Libs that pushed for those with mental illness to be able to reject treatment/detainment for their illness. We need to be able to detain people who put terrorist videos on their social media pages. This 19 year old was well known to the school and law enforcement officials. People with mental illness do not have the capacity to make decisions such as rejection of treatment or detainment! Stop the ACLU and the LIbs. NOW!

Different ‘donor’????
Let’s discuss government censorship of all media outlets which promote the unconstitutional idea of gun control. Do Liberals have a problem with such censorship? Why do they think government censorship of the press is wrong?
He is unrelated to Alec Baldwin.
The people that expelled the shooter need to have more accountability in the whole mess.
Regardless of the source, I think that is an appropriate and valid comment. I see nothing offensive in it. I'm sure Ellen DeGeneres and I will strongly disagree on the methods we should use to end this epidemic of school shootings in our country but at least she did post a rabid, unhinged, rant.
They didn’t. Not related.
Is he? I thought he was one of the “Baldwin brothers” Thank you for the correction.
Thank you for the correction. I mistook him for one of the “Baldwin brothers”.
The Navy in me is wondering what ship that picture was taken.
Entirely different family of Baldwins. . . .
In 2016, 64,000 people died of drug overdose. Get your priorities straight. Remember.... heroin is illegal.
Said it once, said it 10 million times(Don’t exaggerate) when ALL the dissidents publicly give up YOUR OWN PERSONAL SECURITY - be it a gun or armed guards AND if a POL chances are WE are paying for it, maybe then we will start listening to you.
OF course since you are a ‘public figure’ we could say you ARE CERTIFIABLE because you gave up your personal security.
At one time the ‘laws’ covered people using a weapon in a felony but these days it is little more than a bargaining chip ESPECIALLY with first time offenders.
SO CELEBS & POLS, that is step two
Take the illegal guns off the street (at least illegal in YOUR warped minds) first to help make it possible for a law abiding, tax paying citizen to navigate freely in this great land without having to break a handful of laws while maintaining PERSONAL SECURITY and Constitutional Rights.
Don’t forget POLS, every working or spending citizen you put in jail for not recognizing his/her constitutional rights, is just another person taken off the street that is paying for YOUR security.
OTOH, isn’t it ‘amusing’ that you always hear about Military/Police/Social Security/Paid Insurance programs etc, having money problems BUT never hear the same complaint about truly FREE GIVEAWAY PROGRAMS????? INCLUDING your personal security.
I understand there were two armed police officers on the grounds at the time of the shooting.
I fear the left wingers more than the high school killer
the high school killer is acceptable when compared to the dangers of leftists imposing no guns. Imagine what adam Schiff would do if he had no fear of being shot
The Navy in me is wondering what ship that picture was taken.

Speaking of Navy.....
Getting so you can’t even take a naked romp in the woods anymore if you are the XO....didn’t these Civs ever hear of Survivor Training???
From Military.com
If doesn’t open, gist of story is CO, XO & CMC fired after the drunken XO was found in the woods wearing ONLY his boots...(That gave me the SERE reference)>>
