The day after the Florida school shooting, Mika Brzezinski has warned guests who have been booked to appear on Morning Joe to "go back home" if they believe this is not the time to talk about gun control.
Said Brzezinski:
"And these real conversations, and the real story of what happened yesterday has to be told. I'm looking at our esteemed list of guests today. And I don't mean to unbook the show. But I'm just going to warn anybody, and everybody, that if anybody comes on this show and says now is not the time to not talk about this, and try and look forward to something constructive, then, why don't you just get back in your car and go back home. Because we are going to talk about this."

She looks like she’s barely suppressing a big smile. Why is it that the Leftists always seem to be celebrating when there is a massacre like this? Could it be because “this could be The One,” the incident that gives rise to gun confiscation, and paves the way for total control of the country by the Left?
I’ve studied these bastards (the Left) for my entire life - and without the slightest doubt I KNOW, in my bones, that the last question should be answered in the affirmative.
WRT what she said, if I was a guest that didn’t want to discuss gun control, I’d use the opportunity to get on the air in front of millions (well, to be more accurate, 46) people and say to her, “Mika, you say that we should discuss gun control - and that’s fine, let’s discuss it - but let’s also discuss other things like mental health and armed security at schools. Let’s not leave anything off of the table, since we’re looking for a solution.” I’m sure that her expression and reaction would be “priceless.”

“Gun control”, “gun violence”, and “sensible restrictions” are all phrases carefully tested in focus groups and selected to promote fear of the firearms that could make men, women, the old, the young, the sick, the weak, the small, and the few all equal. The use of these phrases in demanding a discussion is proof of their insincerity. Still, I’m ready to talk. I’m sincere.
The Second Amendment: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
The militia clause explains why the individual, God-given right to keep and bear arms is given the highest legal protection of any individual right in the Constitution. That clause, however, does not limit our God-given right to defend ourselves and our families. The right to keep and bear arms is clearly held by “the people” and is clearly one that “shall not be infringed”.
Spiritually, God gave us the right to effective self defense. No force on earth has the moral right to usurp a gift from God. Legally, the Second Amendment protects that right. No force on earth has the legal power to infringe on that most basic of all American rights.
Those who wish to become tyrants clearly don’t care about God or the rule of law, just force. So where do America’s enemies on the left stand practically? Thirty-six million hunting licenses were sold last year, and less than a third of gun owners are even hunters - two thirds have guns only to protect their family and their country against the very threat posed by today’s Left.
Xerxes had over 100,000 trained soldiers (and perhaps up to one million) behind him when he ordered 300 Spartans to lay down their arms. If Leonidas refused against those odds, what kind of men would we be to turn meek with the odds just as lopsided but in favor of freedom? Those who wish to become tyrants can try, but our side of the debate knows the correct answer:
Xerxes/Obama/Pelosi/Stalin/Hillary: “Hand over your arms”
Leonidas and all decent people in our Free Republic: “Come and take them”.
End of “gun control discussion”. How about we discuss the FBI doing their job instead of trying to overturn a free and fair election, and how about we discuss mental health care for individuals known to pose a violent danger to children?
