In some ways an upfront leftist nutcase like Maxine Waters is easier to take than a backstabbing obsequious yet pompous twit like Romney. I think it’s the hypocrisy of the man that is most annoying. With Waters, you know what she’s about. With Romney it’s pure Waffle House.

Mike Lee has a GREAT voting record. He’s one of the few at or close to 100 percent.

I can honestly say Id rather have U.S. Senator Mitt Romney than U.S. Senator Evan McMullin I don't think I agree with you there.
Let's stipulate two things. First, both are Never Trumpers of the first order of magnitude. Second, neither is a conservative. Neither is a Reagan Republican, a constitutionalists, or whatever term you want to use.
It comes down to their pol;icy positions. While neither would be that good, I think we'd get more votes we like from a Senator McMullin than from a Senator Romney.
Ideologically, Romney is Susan Collins -- a very liberal Republican. Still better than a Dhimmicrap, but not by a lot. Ideologically, McMullin seems more like Al D'Amato. Not a conservative, but a "moderate" type who voted our way more often than the Collins types do.
I'd rather have the D'Amato type than the Collins type, based on voting record. I'd rather have a real conservative than either of them, but if that's the choice, I'm taking the D'Amato type.

I can’t dispute that, but that doesn’t change the fact that he hates Trump.

US Senator from Utah is probably the most harmless and ineffectual post Romney could end up holding. A nice way of putting a retired politician out to pasture. Service in the American House of Lords. Or upon retirement, becoming honorary chair of the the local homeowners association’s recycling committee. :)
