The local sewer plant, known as NBC affiliate news said it pushes a 1 Trillion dollar deficit out every year. What is the truth?

I think I could consider keeping not more than two or three of those 22 agencies. It’s mostly just graft ripoff and waste imho.

16. The Legal Services Corporation, a nonprofit that provides civil legal assistance for low-income individuals. YES!! About time!!! This agency actually sued congress to remain in existence. Somebody has answered some prayers. But don’t celebrate yet until it happens and the doors to all these agencies are closed and offices vacated and sold.

It would be nice to see how much each of these would save. It all adds up!

Back in the 1980’s my lawyer and I attended an SBA, Small Business Administration, conference held in Atlanta. It was a three day affair intended to help us get complete a business plan and get financing. I think we were the only white people there. We were treated very badly. When I got back to Tampa I went to our advisor at the SBA. He blushed, looked around to make sure nobody could overhear and quietly said, “Look, I’m sorry. This program is only for black people.”

Just about all of them were in Trump’s 2017 Budget plan as well, yet here they are still.

I bet there are another 322 agencies or programs we could eliminate, to good effect. I went through just one state’s government phone book and found over 200 superfluous offices or bureaus. And washDC is a far larger swamp!

These minor agencies were created to provide lucrative plum government paid positions for faithful political donors.

None of these agencies are even remotely a responsibility of the Federal Government.

The National Endowment for the Arts, which funds American artists and projects with grants

I think the cross in a jar of pee was one of theirs, meaning ours.

Those two and the Arts BS will be the focus of their whine, piss, and moan, anti-Trump budget rant but they'll fight to the death to save these two that their pals use to steal millions:

19. The Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation, which funds community development projects nationwide.
20. The Denali Commission, the Delta Regional Authority and the Northern Border Regional Commission, which fund infrastructure and economic projects in specified areas.

Both of these and a couple others should have a picture of either a fat pig at a trough or a fat sow with ten piglets attached to her teats on their agency paperwork and as part of their official seal.

Every President since Reagan has tried to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse in the budget.

It will never happen since nearly all the agencies and programs affected have voters behind them and congresscritters willing to fund their continued existence.

The reason Big Government is never going to disappear has nothing to do with Trump.

8. The Advanced Research Projects Agency, which provides support for Energy Department projects.

This is the only one on the list that I would keep or merge with something being kept. Even here, I would reduce ARPA’s budget. We are $20T in debt. We cannot keep everything, not even everything good.

Eliminate the ATF. States already regulate Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Federal regulation is redundant and unnecessary.

Eliminate the Dept of Transportation. Hang Mission Accomplished on every bridge over the freeways. What is needed now is maintenance and short connectors. States are better at that than the Feds.
