These portraits will undoubtedly hang somewhere with all the others of like status and the two portraits will stand out like a sore thumb. It is a big f**k you to all the other portraits and American culture.

Seeing them together in your post, I note that if you had to choose the subject who had a white parent, you’d pick Mooch. They de-Africanized her features to quite the extent. “Say it loud!”

You got it. The portrait of Michelle Obama is something that would garner a second place prize at a high school art fair...maybe. It just doesn't look like her, in addition to being amateurish and evidence of not much talent. (The artist who painted Obama’s portrait much more talented and skilled, although I think the casual nature of the portrait is totally inappropriate.)
