Ruth Baider Ginsburg's great fear: Courts viewed as partisan
ABC News ^ | 1/30/18 | Michelle R. Smith

One of Ruth Bader Ginsburg's great fears is that the federal judiciary will start to be seen as just another political branch of government divided along partisan lines like Congress, the U.S. Supreme Court justice said Tuesday.

The number one worry of propaganda is perception. To be effective it must not be perceived to be what it is.

...I assume the ACLU is her model of nonpartisan...

I assume her comments about Trump is her model of nonpartisan.

Now she claims to be concerned that the court might be considered partisan?

After she spent her entire career as an ultra-left partisan, doing her best to politicize the court?

Ginsberg quotes about Trump:

Interview July 8, 2016 with New York Times

“I can’t imagine what this place would be — I can’t imagine what the country would be — with Donald Trump as our president. For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be — I don’t even want to contemplate that.”

“Now it’s time for us to move to New Zealand.”

Interview July 11, 2016 with CNN

“He is a faker. He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment. He really has an ego. ...

“At first I thought it was funny,” she said of Trump’s early candidacy. “To think that there’s a possibility that he could be president ….

She’s got no more honor or credibility than people like Al Sharpton, Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, Maxine Waters or Barack Obama.

“Sandra Day said it is wrong for Americans to criticize the judiciary.”

Dear Sandy... Americans have free speech rights, just like you and these rights are continually under attack, especially by the left and the government. Since FDR began the democrap tradition of and institutionalized the politicization of the courts, even the process to de-politicize the courts shall be subject to criticism by those who have benefited from the use of politics in judicial decisions.

If the Court performed correctly its responsibility - to interpret the Constitution as it was written instead of treating it as a “living document”, politics take place where they should - in the Legislative and Executive branches - and the politicians would be held responsible by the voters. Perhaps you should spend your efforts making sure that the 9 justices understand this and need to act accordingly. Once you have successfully done that, then you are free to continue your criticism of the American people who have been the victims of the Court’s politics. Have a nice day Sandy.

If she had any ethics, she would recuse herself from every decision that came before the court that involved the Trump Administration, or person associated with Trump, or any person whoever publicly supported Trump.

After all Ruth, one of your coherts, a partisan federal judge can order a national injunction against the President for his alleged statements made as a candidate, then you too Ruth must be prevented from participating in such decisions. Probably more so.

She's not concerned that the Courts BE partisan?

To those who have descended into the quagmire of Western decadence, only appearances matter. Truth is of no importance; it fact, it is to be despised.

Then she should stop hammering in that wedge of partisan bias into every decision she makes. Take the telephone pole out of your own eye before you worry about the speck in everyone else’s eye.
