Journalists pushed back against President Trump's tweet Saturday saying people's lives are being destroyed by "a mere allegation," a comment that sparked backlash on social media.
Trump decried how people's "lives are being shattered and destroyed be a mere allegation" after two White House aides abruptly resigned this week following claims of past domestic abuse.
While Trump did not mention any specific allegations, he wrote: "Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused - life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?"

I, for one, maintained an interested eye, but refused to come to a conclusion. Slowly, collaborating evidence came to light that made it look like some of the accusations were valid. Yet, he remained unconvicted, both in my mind and in the court (and of course, the leftist press). That changed with “the Blue Dress” and his admitted lying.
Once he was a proven liar, earlier accusations became credible.
That’s just me. Others may have approached it differently.

What happened to the Bill Clinton rule: women who allege sexual assault are trailer trash liars? Now they’re suddenly all saints?
So who cares? Why do you care? Why stick your nose in someone else's marriage? Does that blow your hair back?
There is s reason men say, when talking about a disagreeable woman, that they remind them of their ex-wives. The left is just using these foolish women as tools to get at President Trump... This will not turn out well for then, but there left doesn't care.

So, following Mr. Tapper’s logic, Obamagate is a fate accompli since there are multiple accusations, mountains of evidence, House and Senate memos and a criminal referral by the Senate. Tell us why again Mr. Tapper you and your network refuse to cover evidence of sedition but treat accusations of domestic violence years ago as if the accused is already guilty without having had due process?

Trump is specifically talking about some women who simply throw out allegations to destroy men and that said allegations should be vigorously followed-up.
Stop using the term liberal they’re not liberal. We need to reclaim the language.

Blah blah blah The President just called for due process that’s all. This should not be a controversial statement. Especially, in the country that supposedly prides itself on that concept.

Was the guy convicted of anything? Because even being charged doesn’t mean anything.
Not anymore..in this country now, you are guilty til proven innocent..its sick but true..id love to see these same reporters get a dose of their own medicine and see how they like being accused of something. Gee can someone just accuse Jake Tapper of touching their ass or something
