WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday blocked the release of a classified memo written by House of Representatives Democrats that rebutted a Republican document made public last week which alleged anti-Trump bias in the FBI’s Russia probe.

A completely inaccurate assertion.
The Pentagon Papers case had nothing to do with a Congressman. Daniel Ellsberg was an employee of Rand corp. The only reason he was not imprisoned is because DOJ dropped charges after it was discovered there was a great deal of prosecutorial misconduct.
Multiple members of Congress have been charged with crimes, prosecuted and imprisoned. They are in no way immune to the Espionage Act.

And half of those here are going all squishy, thinking the Dems just won this round.
As we’ve been seeing recently, the entire situation is fluid. By tomorrow morning, Trump will have the upper hand.
