THE CLINTON EMAIL SCANDAL AND THE FBI’S INVESTIGATION OF IT
An Interim Report
Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs United States Senate ^
| Feb 7 2018
| Senator Ron Johnson
Posted on 02/07/2018 2:58:54 PM PST by smileyface
Executive Summary Given the recent interest in Congresss and this Committees oversight of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the FBIs investigation of classified information on former Secretary of State Hillary Clintons private email server, this interim majority staff report serves as an update on actions we have taken and what we have learned to date. As the Committee continues to investigate, Chairman Johnson has requested additional documents and materials from the Justice Department. The FBI is the nations premier law enforcement agency, and it is crucial that the public has full faith and confidence in its integrity and impartiality. Unfortunately, a number of actions taken by high-level FBI officials have legitimately called both into question.

How could the FBI make that determination in the server, unless it conducted forensics? IIIRC such was neverdone

FWIW (probably not much): I can’t stand to watch Laura Ingraham any more. She talks over her guests as they are trying to answer her questions. Her Carter Page interview was horrendous. He gave many vague and/or off-topic responses and she didn’t follow up but just went on to another question on her list. And she repeatedly talked over his answers. Doesn’t seem like she ever did any litigation or she would be better at that. She may be a good analyst and commentator but she’s a lousy interviewer and host.

Davis has turned out to be just as dishonest as the rest of the Clinton asskissing fan club members. He should be disbarred as both an attorney and as a human being.
A big disappointment. He could have been the only Clintonite who had any integrity but he showed that none of them have any integrity.
Add him to the Blumenthal cabal of shisters and hitmen.

6. No tapes of interview made.
I would question This, as they like to secretly use those tie tac spy cameras. Could have some good video somewhere.

As much as I love Trump, unless someone is held accountable behind all of this, it will be a huge reduction in the quality of our republic.unless justice is served and criminals go to jail, we do not have a republic !

Is it just me or are there way, WAY too many "Chief of..." "Head of..." "Deputy Director of...." in the Federal government?
Bang on me for being politically incorrect, but the old saying of "Too many chiefs and not enough Indians" come to mind?
Yeah, another one resigns. For the most part that is probably a good thing.

Sometimes she’s too smart for her own good. IMO she says a lot of insightful things, but often fails to listen to what her guest is saying. One example: Page seemed willing to delve into his earlier dealings with the FBI, but Laura wasn’t listening and changed the subject.

I read an article the past that said that the file creation happened faster than it would have over wire. That it was apparently portable device plugged directly into the server that created the email files. I am not an IT guy so maybe this is not right but the way the article implied basically said that the files are copied and created. within the code is exact timing of each created copy. The timing shows that it was a direct connection and not hacked through an external connection

Imho the nyt statement that there is no direct evidence that a server is hacked implies that the hackers were skilled in covering their tracks is false. The explanation leaves imho totally open the possibility of a physical breach by a person with physical access to the target system. It would be my intuition that a physical breach is the most likely explanation. Maybe I am missing something.
