Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) fired back at President Trump for calling Democrats who didn’t stand and applaud during his State of the Union address “treasonous,” saying she didn’t swear an oath “to mindlessly cater to the whims of Cadet Bone Spurs.”

Trump called Democrats “treasonous” earlier Monday for not applauding when he listed his achievements to Congress last Tuesday.
"Can we call that treason? Why not?" Trump said during a speech about the GOP tax plan in Ohio. "They certainly didn't seem to love our country very much."
Duckworth was referring to Trump’s multiple deferments from the draft during the Vietnam War, one of which was for heel spurs, or bone protrusions caused by calcium buildup.
The Democrat also shared a quote by President Theodore Roosevelt saying that to block criticism of the president “is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

Sen. Tammy Duckworth is right in the sense that the thugs and losers who are openly disrespectful during the National Anthem have a constitutional right to kneel or otherwise protest as they are doing. It’s not relevant, but at least she’s correct for once.
The President of the United States is also correct that such rights do not come without consequences. If the NFL had fined or if the 49ers had fired 2-14 loser Colin K sooner, the League could have saved billions of dollars. Perhaps then the misconduct would not have spread and the NFL would not have terminal Colin cancer. I don’t think the Left’s reprehensible conduct before each game is treason. I am, however, thrilled every time that Karma bites a SJW who is too focused on posturing for loser fans to pay attention to playing well.
Nope. She sure didn't. Neither did I. I swore to obey the orders of the president. I swore to support and defend the constitution against all enemies, which outlines the duties of the office of president...but I certainly didn't swear to RESPECT the office of president. That's not in the oath.
Now, decency says we SHOULD respect the office, even if we don't respect the man, as I've had to do with Clinton AND Obama in my 30 years. But I didn't swear on it.
That is the issue. It wasn’t about him, he never made it about him...he says “we” and “our”, unlike other Presidents that do make it all about them. It was an actual State of the Union address, about the state of our country. That is what they had all their hate on for. They are against our country as it is, their vision is far different than those that love and cherish this country.
So that’s what soldier Tammy calls the Commander in Chief?
