A uniformed officer carrying his service weapon was asked to leave an Outback Steakhouse restaurant because it is a designated gun-free zone.
Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency officer Andrew Ward went to Outback Steakhouse to have dinner with his wife Friday evening, he wrote in a public Facebook post.
Ward said in the post that a manager approached him and requested that he put his gun in his truck. Ward told the manager that he could not because he was in uniform and had to have his weapon on his person.
The manager left to make a call, Ward writes, and then returned to ask Ward and his wife to leave because Outback is a gun free zone.

If your salad dressing has olive garden’s name on it, you are supporting them when you buy it.
You do realize that game warden’s are official law enforcement officers, and actually have more authority than “plain old cops”? They can come into your house, search the entire thing, all without a warrant, to boot.
/Seriously, if someone reported they saw you shoot a bald eagle, or some other “endangered” species, they have full jurisdiction to tear your house apart looking for said animal, if they believe you may have even possibly did it.

Well, that’s enough to end my patronage of Outback.
In this particular case, you do realize that this guy is a game-warden...not an actual policeman...right?
Game wardens are mandated LE and wear a uniform. What is your definition of a policeman?
These places that are gun-free zones need to be reminded that they are on their own if something happens that requires law enforcement intervention. If it should go to court,then they again need to be reminded that,due to their policies they are on their own.
