The GOP dropped the ball on this one.

Now, get ready for that national media to treat this race as if it were a presidential election.

How do we end up with these clowns as GOP candidates?

Is Illinois void of competent conservatives?

Just have POTUS and VPOTUS do a commercial spot opposing the Nazi, like Reagan and Bush41 did supporting David Duke’s opponent.

Problem solved.

That is an easy fix and i’d bet that Trump would be a lot more amusing than was Reagan and Bush. i loved Ronald Reagan, but think that Trump probably has a better sense of humour. At least he seems to improvise better.

Anyone can get on a ballot as a Rep or Dem just by claiming to be one. I honestly think both parties should fix that and actually require membership of any candidates running in the party’s name.

The GOP should be squealing over this guy much more than they did Roy Moore.

Hey Mitch, “there is nothing to learn from the second kick of a mule”.

This happened in my district in Tennessee about 2002 or so. The Rep candidate missed the filing deadline because he was deployed in Iraq. A write in candidate failed miserably. we had no choice in the general election but to vote for the blue dog dem John Tanner. Sometimes things happen

This district (3rd) formerly the 5th has a conservative democrat (Lipinski) running for re election and because he is conservative the perverts want to dump him. Past history shows that the Illinois GOP along with the RCEC has never funded any candidate running here partially because he has supported conservative causes including being anti abortion .

This election the Illinois governors race Republicans will be focused on their primary and there is a strong possibility of Lipinski losing his seat. Because dems figure most conservatives in that district will come out for Ives who is running a strong race against Governor Rauner won’t be able to come out for Lipinski.

Since it’s well past the filing date (Dec 4th) and those issues were not apparant. What should have happened didn’t .

But what might but probably won’t Is that Jones petitions should be gone over with a fine tooth comb and challenged Not sure if the time allotted to do this is available) but other methods to remove him from the primary ballot fail... Then put up a write in candidate. who may lose in the general but won’t give the perverts an issue to run around with for November.
