However, Sundays Super Bowl LII also saw a decline of 5% in metered market results from the last time NBC had the big game back on February 1, 2015 when the Patriots faced off against then champs the Seattle Seahawks. Overall, last nights game peaked in the high stakes fourth quarter with 52.2/74.
All in all, Super Bowl LII is currently the lowest rated since Super Bowl XLIV in 2010 when the New Orleans Saints thrashed the Indianapolis Colts on CBS.
Even before those results were in of last nights game, another voice was added to the chorus of praise to the finally victorious Eagles. While Donald Trump passed on the traditional Presidential sit down with the Super Bowl broadcasting network on Sunday, the Tom Brady pal did take to social media for a few words after all the hoopla had left the field at Minneapolis U.S. Bank Stadium:

Well, I hope you had as much fun washing your hair as we did watching the game.
What game was that?
Hard to believe a daughter like that came from Mark :-)
You wash your hair once a year, lol...???
The one you missed.
Your turn...
Oh! St. Frances Academy v. Bingham? Yeah, sorry I missed that one. Good game. Poor Bingham - they got blown away, 41-3.
That sounds like a terrible game. I'm glad I missed that one.
Tag. You're it.
Well, GTG. Some of us have real jobs.
Yes, I enjoyed the game immensely even though I’m a Pats fan. I figured we are playing with house money but it still hurts.
The Red Sox truck left for Florida today so that means baseball and warm weather will be here soon enough.
I am a Pats fan and it kept me entertained until the very end. Maybe not a defensive exhibition but I’ll take it.
Plus the High School team I root for (Winnacunnet, NH) won the state championship this year so I can accept that.(Pats might have won if they had their defense!)
I slept through it and honestly didn’t miss it since NOT watching during the regular season.
Historic? What a laugh.
Not 41-3 high school football.
Well, this is certainly an interesting discussion. We’ve gone from the Super Bowl to washing your hair to HS football to jobs. What’s next?
Thug wannabe Chris Long badmouthed Trump last year and didnt go to the White House as a member of the Patriots. He said the same thing a couple weeks ago. He acts like hes scared to offend his black liberal buddies buddies, or hes just another snowflake on a guilt trip because hes white. Foles and the coach are class acts.
It WAS a great game.
The Eagles offensive play looked very much like their NFC Championship match against the Vikings, but of course, the Pats matched them up a lot better.
The last few minutes were unique, with Philly getting that fumble-sack ... finally! ... but then Brady keeping their chances alive literally until the last second.
Don’t want to be too philosophical, but that last pass attempt was as much a testament to his skills as all his victories ... it almost worked!
Darrell is fun, but no Barry, or Kenny.
It was a great Arena or flag football game. or equal to what the Big 12 plays on Saturdays but not football.

I agree. The rules have made the game too QB-centric. When one team has 500 yards passing and 50 yards rushing while the other team has almost 400 yrds. passing a just over 100 yards rushing you know the game has morphed into Canadian Football.
I don’t give a shit.
