Eric C. Baum is gay. Normally that doesn't matter, but in the context of above, that should raise some eyebrows.

Schiff and Crowell were charged in March 2016 with similar offenses for operating a prostitution ring in York and Lancaster counties.
Officials said the latest operation was discovered during an undercover prostitution sting in April of this year.
Prosecutors said two undercover state troopers responded to a prostitution advertisement on the website Backpage and arranged a meeting with a woman at the Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster, according to a grand jury presentment. After the officers identified themselves, the woman told them she didn’t feel safe and wanted to “get out,” authorities said.
The woman said Crowell and Schiff recruited her as an escort while she was working at a York gentlemen’s club. She said Schiff bragged about selling pills and heroin to the women working for him as a means of control.
When she told Schiff she didn’t like him dealing heroin in the hotel room where she worked, Schiff threatened her with a knife, officials said.
