The judge in this FISA episode has a problem. The fact that he won’t even act to correct the abuses he approved...would suggest that his license to practice law ought to be reviewed and possibly terminated.

wants to know why the FISA judge hasn’t put anyone in jail for committing a fraud

Because maybe the judge needs to be in jail with them.

I glad to see Gohmert taking action! If we let this
die, our country is gone!

Gohmert is one of the good guys along with his allies in Congress and Judicial Watch. They need to continue with their incredible persistence against this governmental criminal enterprise.

Distr Judge Rudolph Contreras
Appointed by Obama, May 9, 2016 to the FISA Ct.
Just in time to surveil Trump.
He was the one who approved the FISA order. And he was also the judge on Michael Flynn’s case but recused himself.
Such a tangled web.

Need a special counsel to pursue this, but one who is not up to his eyeballs entangled in it.

Mueller has a thousand times more reason to recuse himself from this investigation than Sessions ever did.

So far Mueller seems to be directing all of his focus toward imaginary crimes and away from the multitude staring the world in face.

Crimes were committed... by the Clintons, Podesta, and probably Obama on this exact Russia matter.

The time has come.

Just wait until the money trail is revealed. You can get away with lots of thing, but defrauding the irs and money laundering puts everyone in jail.

Ditto! Get the transcripts and if evidence warrants the Impeach FISA judge(s).

We will not have law and order unless the House of Representatives Steps up and do their Constitutional Duty under their Oath of office.

Without the Rule of Law under Our U.S. Constitution all that is left is anarchy. We must have an honest judiciary. The Keepers of the Law are our judges. The keepers of the Judiciary at every level are our members of Congress. The House Impeaches, the Senate Tries the case.

These members have Only Two responsibilities together in our system. To pass the annual budget before Oct 1st each year and to oversee the Impeachment Proceedings to keep our leaders clean!

0 for 2 since Nixon. Pathetic, sad, Bigly!

Oooooh...won’t that cause a constitutional crisis?

If that court won’t defend itself from abuse, it needs to be disbanded and the judges disbarred.

If this happed to a normal court, all of the lawyers involved would be having midlife career changes after considering their futures at a goverment-sponsored all expense paid retreat.

Since this FBI application has been a very embarrassing and integrity challenging issue for the FISC,and the Supreme Court appoints judges to the FISC, then the Supreme Court should set up a verifiable procedure to expeditiously get transcripts of all the proceedings for the original application and the three renewals redacted of all legitimate security issues, and make them public.

This is one way to reestablish the integrity of the FISC and abolish the apparent rubber stamp approval of warrants to monitor U.S. Citizens. The "F" in FISC is for FOREIGN persons.

FISA court has a small footprint. Does the court maintain an archive that is secure? Can the records be update and modified by the agency without the oversight of the judge?

Color me curious.

How would anyone know who the FISA judge is and who appointed him. It’s a secret tribunal.

It will be interesting to see what Carter Page does today.

His lawsuit is one of the things that will get the FISA approval document revealed.

One of the great hazards of running a Constitution-warping program - it takes Honorable and incorruptible men to make it work - and 95% of them are as corrupt as they come...

Make deliberate abuse a capital crime and record all parts of all sessions for reference as to whether they followed the intent of the law....
