This time, the New England Patriots were the victims of a Super Bowl comeback.

Fly Eagles Fly!

Philadelphia Eagles manager Jimmy Murray started the flagship and first Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia.

Our daughter received a successful bone marrow transplant in 2016 and some players visited at the time when we were staying at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House.

Now she attends college in Philly (SJU); and the Eagles did not kneel in 2017.

So we did not watch all year, but we did watch last night.

The Eagles sponsor a few full scholarships for leukemia survivors at some of the local area https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philadelphia_Ronald_McDonald_House Universities; our daughter’s bone marrow failure was not leukemia however it was related; she was runner up for the scholarship.

Brady was unloading the ball so fast there wasn’t much time to do much. I will say the Eagle corners were not very effective at all. They were blowing coverages left and right.

Brady was off. Loved watching them lose. Hate to say it, but.

Defense wins championships. And the Patriots didn’t have it. They couldn’t make the stops they needed to. They had only one...when the Eagles settled for a field goal. There were two key plays that their defense should have made but didn’t. And why didn’t Malcolm Butler play?

Yes, you are incorrect. That might be the HS rule where you live, but I’ve not seen that call at the HS level before.

it was still played by a bunch of anti-American dipsh*ts who don’t deserve our money or time.

I found it interesting that during the National Anthem, the cameras twice showed the entire Patriots team standing at attention.

The Eagles were only showed in groups of 2 or 3 players or in closeup. Not one shot of the entire team on the sidelines.

Hmmm. I wonder why?

Neither team had a defense. Brady shredded the vaulted Eagle defense and the Eagles gave up over 600 total yards in the game. Patriots didn’t have to punt the entire game. Eagles punted once. It looked like a CFL game. Two questionable TD calls gave the game to the Eagles. Plus Patriot’s defense got no pressure on Foles.. Vegas has already established Patriots as next year’s favorite, with Eagles right behind them. As long as Brady and Billichick remain they’ll be fine. Foles will probably be traded. No need in him not going after the money.

They didn’t lose. The post was about how the city would burn to the ground if they lost. And they didn’t. But they have before, many many many times and the city never burned to the ground. Fans in Philly take losses with tears and resignation, not violence.

Brady was off.

He threw for 500+ yards and no INTs. How was that "off". Brady proved that he was the NFL MVP this year. Outside of Brady and Gronk, when healthy, New England was a very average team.

There were passes to nowhere sometimes. A couple in a row in a series.

He rolled up yards and scored points.

He just looked off. The fumble at the end was weird too.

He didn’t play badly. Eagles secondary was horrible. Horrible. He could pass down field with impunity.

Brady didn’t exactly have that great of a supporting cast this season. He alone is why they made it as far as they did.
