Of course! Who wouldn't want to leave ESPN's flagship show, viewed weekly by millions, and move to an obscure website read by . . . dozens?
In October, Jemele Hill was suspended by ESPN for, among other things, calling President Trump a "white supremacist." ESPN more recently announced that Hill would be moving from her role as SportsCenter host to writing for a website called The Undefeated.
On Al Sharpton's MSNBC show today, Hill claimed that her move from SportsCenter to The Undefeated was "100% my choice."

Thanks for the info on The Undefeated. On the one hand, it does sound like a good fit for Hill. On the other, I find it difficult to believe that she asked to be removed from one of the most famous shows in America in favor of writing for a little-known website.
For that matter, I’m sure that if she was so intent on writing for The Undefeated, she could have done that while retaining her SportsCenter gig.

A waste of bandwidth...
That Sportscenter show was a pain in the ass. She had to wake up every day, hose the manure off, put on her best pink bow, make sure not to forget her silk purse, and then manage to be at the studio on-time for a few hours.
She's now able to sleep in for days, spend as much time at the trough as she wants, and can wallow to her heart's content while listening to rap music and doing drugs. She just has to write a stupid racist article a couple times a week to keep pulling down her huge salary and benefits.
She probably does think she "scored."

Ditto x a bunch, Grampa Dave! She ran out her string for more than 6 years with ESPN propping her up all the way with cross-promotions galore on more popular shows. For the programming wizards at ESPN, you let her give us her “authentic voice” and you found out there was no audience for her tripe. Now, everybody cut your losses and get on down the road.
Rofl, her “choice”.... well maybe they offered her great financial incentives to get her off the show.... or else the kind of “choice” which says “you can choose from the following options....”
