Good question. Historically FISA warrants are almost always passed right through by fisa judges. The Page memo was denied at first re-written with even more deception and then passed. From what I read only part of the story was told to the judges. If they got the entire story about how the entire story was circular it would never have been authorized.
Probably doesn’t matter which judge did it at the time they were all obama picks.

OK, I get OAN (One America Network) on my Roku.
As an aside, everyone who has Internet access should get a Roku. I have two now, and am replacing ALL my cable boxes and cable tv with them.
Since I get both cable and Internet from Spectrum, I can drop the cable and still use Spectrum’s Roku app to watch the cable lineup. The only problem I have with it is for the local channels it uses Birmingham (110 miles away) versus Montgomery (30 miles away).
Holy cow. I missed seeing that first time around. My reading is a combination of skim and care, in the long run I miss alot, and I see alot. I missed that.
Well, shucks. Not sure I'll have anything much worthwhile to say, that isn't said better by somebody else. Maybe I'll be able to highlight some particular press inanity that seems to fly under the radar.

This is one of the hotter videos going around this week. Commie dem Erick Swallwell,commie-dem,CA. now lying with wall ass. He’s a slick BS artist who pissed off Tucker Carlson so bad he simply went to a break and shut the guy down. Swallwell is one of those slicksters that will never answer a straight question with any kind of answer that resembles the question,slick commie.
Under FISA, the judge is essentially a duplication of the AG. Both have to find probable cause the target is an agent of a foreign power, and agree on "minimization," which is the fancy name for "masking." The Judge and AG work hand in hand, like co-authors looking for plot disconnects. Both aim for the warrant to issue.
When the original author is a dirty cop, the judge doesn't know that. And the AG vouches for the dirty cop. So, as far as the judge can tell, the story has already been vetted. He;s just the final editor in an otherwise righteous surveillance activity.
Not to say the judge has no blame, but he'd be the last one to know or suspect the application was hinky. The FISC was USED. The system and history facilitates that. There isn't any oversight, everything is classified and secret.
Count me in as an admirer.

This point needs to be emphasized again and again. It goes beyond Carter Page. This was the hook to monitor the entire Trump campaign. And we still haven't got to the unmasking issues that used queries to the NSA database to monitor the Trump campaign, transition team, and finally a sitting President.
This monitoring went on well into the Trump Presidency. And what access does Mueller have to these data? The Dems have used this phony scam to undermine Trump and gain access to the Trump campaign, the biggest ops research against a political opponent ever seen. And it goes on to this very minute with the Mueller investigation as the vehicle.
