I wish that WAS Blitzer then and a Smart Bomb messed up his day, but he was at the Pentagon. I know because I was there at the same time and I saw him several times and he was an ass then. Bob Zellnick of ABC News was a nice guy you could talk to and I did from time to time but Wolf wouldn’t give us the time of day.
We used to go up and hang out at in the Pentagon ring hall that had the briefing room where General Thomas Kelly gave briefings and listen in from there.
We’d see the network’s Pentagon correspondents and Wolf was always a pompous dick to us.
