Former FBI Director James Comey torched Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee over the release of a memo alleging the Department of Justice abused a surveillance program on Friday, tweeting, “That’s it?”
“Dishonest and misleading memo wrecked the House intel committee, destroyed trust with Intelligence Community, damaged relationship with FISA court, and inexcusably exposed classified investigation of an American citizen. For what?” Comey tweeted Friday.
“DOJ & FBI must keep doing their jobs,” he added.

The House Intelligence Committee released the memo Friday, shortly after President Trump approved the document’s release. The document was complied by the office of House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) and alleges that the Justice Department abused a surveillance program.
The memo claims that the department used information gained from the so-called Steele dossier — which was partially funded by the Democratic National Committee — to obtain surveillance warrants against former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
The FBI made a rare public statement expressing concerns about the release of the memo, saying it leaves out important context. Comey praised the FBI for "speaking up" on Thursday.

He hands the documents off to what he described in Congress as his "friend" in academia (a second crime and weasel move).
The "friend" then hands off the documents to the media (a third crime and a weasel move).
This phony whistle-blower move, based on a false narrative triggers another friend, Mueller, to be named as Special Counsel (an exquisite weasel move).
And, when the heat is turned up, the Comey "friend" instantly becomes his Counsel of Record to shield any further discussion due to "attorney-client privilege".
All of this adds up to a series of lying-weasel-clown-moves.

When I read this, the first thing I thought was, what more is there, Mr. Comey? Apparently he knows that the FBI has done much much worse and was expecting to see more crimes than this in the memo.
