Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) accused FBI Director Christopher Wray Thursday of being in open rebellion against President Donald Trump by opposing release of the controversial memo detailing surveillance abuses and anti-Trump bias within the Justice Department. Gingrich made his remarks on Fox News Americas Newsroom.
If you want an example of the deep state, you apparently had the head of the FBI go to the White House with the deputy attorney general, make his case to the White House they are his superiors in the executive branch and get turned down, Gingrich said. He then goes back and apparently puts out a release I mean, in effect its an open rebellion.

Any place I ever worked insubordination was a firing offense
Insubordination HAS to be a firing offense, an organization can’t function if it can’t even direct and coordinate its own actions.
Wray told Congress to shove it, too.
To Wray, they are above Congress, above the Constitution,
and empowered to take down, using foreign powers,
an ELECTED PRESIDENT for an impostor crypto-past-pRes_ _ent.
Wray + FBI = BANANA REPUBLIC
Wray should resign. What kind of law man puts being liked by his employees above honoring the truth and trusting the American people? This guy is a swamp creature and should be shamed out of his job.
Who, in their right mind, could ever trust or respect him?
I notice that Gingrich didn’t say what he thought the President should do about it. So let’s lay it out on the table. I thought that if Wray disagreed on this then he should have resigned. Well, he isn’t so if Gingrich is correct then should Trump fire Wray over this?
Let the man openly be insubordinate. He makes the case for the President.
Res ipsa loquitur, or in this case Wray ipsa loquitur.
Goes to explicit, *deliberate* negligence.
The President should DEMAND his resignation! Period!
Media says Wray was handpicked!
He said this backwards, right?
I think Trump should let this play out a little longer, then decide if firing Wray is the best route. In time, I expect Wray will, appropriately, be fired. Trump should have Kelly have a heart-to-heart with Wray about any planned FBI rebuttal document text.
Wray got 90% of the Rat votes to confirm. All you need to know.
Why wait?
US Marshals should be dispatched to intercept Mr. Wray and prevent him from entering FBI Headquarters ever again.
It’s possible that Wray is doing this for show and that the President knows this.
To avoid looking precipitous and defensive, and to keep the spotlight on the substantive contents and implications of the memo for a longer period of time. My thoughts, anyway... 😊
Perhaps as the memo is released the president will make the statement “because of the severity of the implications mentioned in the memo I have asked the following ‘EMPLOYEES’ of the Executive Branch for their resignations effective Immediately: _______, _________, etc.
This is necessary to protect the Constitution from our enemies both foreign and DOMESTIC! God Bless America!
When Trump gets the opportunity to replace a deep state stooge at DOJ or FBI why does get the next stooge in line? It was obvious what Wray was when Trump nominated him. McCabe has been replaced by another swamper. Good Lord Mr. President quit making this same mistake!
I heard there were whistles blowers. Maybe appoint one of them.
