According to text messages produced by the committee, Ms. Page and Mr. Strzok make references to communicating with other FBI employees via text message, phone call, email, and voice mail, stated Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Sen. Maybe if they were private citizens they could then take the 5th.
Is that why they are all retiring?

Situation normal in government. The only thing that matters is loyality and a willingness to work around the law. That will earn you a high level position in government. Knowledge, experience and expertise have no bearing on the positions many people in the federal government hold. I’ve seen it countless times.
Sychophants and bootlickers rise to the top.
Lois Lerner is Exhibit A. Guilty as sin, but comfortably enjoying her retirement.
How stupid do these people have to be to openly discuss on a government device? There is Zero expectation of privacy.
These two are stupid to work for the FBI. I wouldn’t even put them in the mailroom.
Who flips first?
