Wasn’t Wray Assistant Attorney General to George W. Bush?

Wray is just another worthless director in a long string of worthless FBI directors.

I wonder if Trump is unhappy with his choice of Wray as FBI director, and I can’t help but wonder if any of this is connected to yesterday’s announcement by Trey Gowdy not to seek re-election.

IF POTUS wants to tone down the memo, focus on the economy/tax cuts and not go to war with his own admin so be it. It’s all about 2018 and getting POTUS reelected right now.

No!

Flux the FBI. Not one cretin to stand up and admit they were wrong and come clean about their dirty deeds. Yet they correctly ask every offender they interview to come clean and confess their crimes. Puke on them ALL—not a decent one among them.

Rep. Jeff Duncan
@RepJeffDuncan

Having read “The Memo,” the FBI is right to have “grave concerns” - as it will shake the organization down to its core - showing Americans just how the agency was weaponized by the Obama officials/DNC/HRC to target political adversaries. #ReleaseTheMemo

Wray needs to resign effective immediately. Let's recall 1974: the media were shrieking about the temerity of Richard Nixon abusing his power of authority to cover up felonious wrongdoing on the part of his staff. Cost him his office. Fast forward to 2018: the media are desperately pulling out all the stops to see that the Director of the FBI may abuse his authority to cover up felonious wrongdoing on the part of his staff. We've come a long way, and it hasn't been a good one.

No. Hell no. Absolutely not. Release it NOW!

Don’t get your hopes up. I’ve got a feeling POTUS is going to back down here. He’s rolling on the economy and tax cuts. No reason to pick a fight with Deep State scum right now. Save that for his second term.

I’m saying the White House is screwing this up. Its only four pages and the longer they wait the more changes will happen.

If what we're reading about the WH refusing to release at this time is true, I would have to agree with you. Bad decisions and deals are probably being made that essentially screw the American people right to know. Trump's choices with respect to the DOJ and FBI don't look all that good to begin with and this doesn't help. Release the damn memo and let the chips fall where they will!

Job titles might suffice. Easy to figure out from that. By the way this memo has given more credence to the old adage “me thinks thou doth protest too much”.

It appears that FBI administrators have approved the Memo and changed their minds to make new demands several times. Have some of them felt the heat and threatened their own coworkers each of those times? Have some of them been threatening to tell on their coworkers, employees or bosses?

Have some of them been threatening to testify against their bosses?

The answer to redacting the name should be a big no, of course. It appears that the FBI and DOJ have had much contempt for Congress and the President and have been trying to obstruct the investigation into the improprieties of some bureaucrats.

Don’t pay attention to the more hyperbolic stories written or broadcast to cause panic. There have probably been quite a number of threats amounting to a possible ratfest between agencies, offices and branches. They’re threatening to accuse each other. Let’s see if our President really has some courage now! Let’s see if he will release the Memo with the names on it!

I’m guessing that he will so do tomorrow, and that he will *not* give in to any kind of blackmail. This is the real defining moment for him.

And don’t worry, conspiracy theory fans. The President has the Secret Service, the U.S. Army’s Old Guard, advisers and aids watching over him. Good people! :-)

If the “deep state” is that powerful that POTUS needs to back down here; there’s not going to be a second term.

Exactly.

If that’s true and the White House did agree to redact names from the memo, Trump can kiss off my vote. There’s been no action whatsoever taken against the leakers since the election. Downplaying what’s happened - in any way whatsoever - will only encourage the same behavior in the future and usher in the next wannabe dictator.

In other words the FBI wants everyone ‘masked’.

Well, they didn’t set a very good example when they allowed all of Trump’s people to be ‘unmasked’...so, no dice.

Great way to put. POTUS should tweet it that way. LOL.

I like how Trump is stalling a little bit. Its like foreplay and the Rats are scurrying and revealing themselves under the crucible of heat. Patience my fellow FReeps and behold the cockroaches frenzy exposed to light.
