It takes a big man to publicly admit he was wrong.
But the bigger takeaway from Luntz’s Twitter feed is this: Get ready for 2018 elections. Republican domination would seem only one solid Trump speech away.

Folks, pray for President Trump. God put him in office for a time such as this. Trump only won because GOD Himself got involved and caused Trump to win. God did it, not us. God gave people the will and desire in their hearts to get off their duffs and go vote for Trump. We must continue to pray for him and VP Pence. Both are being attacked by the un-Godly leftists, globists, commies, socialists, homosexuals, deadbeats, and slime of the left. Whether you want to believe it or not, I believe as do many others in my church, that Trump’s win was the will of God. To have Trump as His instrument to do God’s will and business in this last days of human existence on this earth. If you do not believe in God, do so at your own peril. I encourage each of you who do not know Him, to seek Him out quickly, the sooner the better. I am not being all jacked up for the world to end. The Bible makes it clear the things that will happen in these last days and if you took the time to read the Scriptures, you will see that these things are falling into place exactly as God’s Word predicted. Go read Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39. Both make it crystal clear what is coming in the Middle East. The nations mention by the prophet all these thousands of years ago are falling into place. I can only ask you to do so, the reading of those chapters in Ezekiel are up to you. Have a great day in the LORD.

lots of Regan haters within his own party now look on Regan as one of the best presidents. everyone loves a winner and frank Luntz is the same. the guy just knows that the gig is up and trump along with the impact from his presidency will be here just as long as Regan’s and as strong as Regan’s. if the guy wants to survive politically he has to adapt and this is a republican swamp creature adapting to the fact that the ecosystem is changing. the same thing happened in the 1980s with a lot of the republican party. there are a lot of old time republicans that will never say they did not like Regan because they know the bulk of there constituency did like him and it would be suicide in a primary to be anything but supportive of there parties president. today those still around will claim to love the guy but it was a difrent story the first two years of his term in office.

I’ve read through most of the responses here. I do wish some of our freepers would show more respect to those who have become Trump supporters. It takes humility to admit one was wrong regarding Donald Trump and to now praise him.
