From Luntz, on Twitter: Tonight, I owe Donald Trump an apology. Tonight, I was moved and inspired. Tonight, I have hope and faith in America again. It may go away tomorrow. But tonight, America is great again. #SOTU.
The fawning didnt stop there.
Even in foreign policy and national security, Luntz wrote in a separate tweet, this speech [is] a perfect blend of strength and empathy. These heroic stories break our hearts, but sturdy our resolve. This is the Trump his voters wanted him to be. #SOTU.
And this: This speech represents the presidential performance that Trump observers have been waiting for brilliant mix of numbers and stories, humility and aggressiveness, traditional conservatism and political populism. Only one word qualifies: Wow. #SOTU, he tweeted.

This speech, he wrote, of Trumps State of the Union, is going to have a measurable impact on Trumps favorability and popularity. Whoever told @TheDemocrats to sit on their hands made a huge mistake.
It takes a big man to publicly admit he was wrong.
But the bigger takeaway from Luntzs Twitter feed is this: Get ready for 2018 elections. Republican domination would seem only one solid Trump speech away.

Code for “you can’t make money as a Trump hater”.
Screw you Putz.
The Buhes, Lutz, Kristol, etc., the PDJT haters...they haven’t changed, they just finally see no path to stopping him...
Too bad, so sad.
Yawn. Nope.
You owe the American people an apology, Frank. Trump couldnt care less about your epiphany but youve mislead your viewers for well over a year. That is wrong wrong wrong.
That said, if frank is sincere and embraces honesty, then welcome to the Trump Train.
How smart can he be when it took him this long to come to his senses?
So he’s a poll dancer. What else can one say???
>>This is the Trump his voters wanted him to be.
Wrong. This is the Trump his voters knew him to be. But Bad Twitter Bully Trump is ALSO the Trump we knew him to be. Weve known that hes a man who loves his country for decades now. Weve known that he has a WWE style persona that he can adopt when necessary. The Idiocracy created by the Progressive media and education system needs a President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho and Trump plays that character very well. Deep down, the Prog women and their Beta male cucks are attracted to him and thats what really makes them crazy.
Yes, Putz finally see the light. Really not impressed...
Not just that; they need to rebuild some credibility so they can lie to more people for the mid-terms and 2020.
Yeah, trying to be relevant and score more TV time.
At least Duntz put that witch Mika in her place yesterday morning when she referred to PDT as the great Dictator. Duntz told her that was not appropriate. Wait for it.....Mika responds “well that is how it FEELS sometimes. Mika hasn’t a brain so all she has left is what she FEELS. What a c word that so called Lady is.
There may be a lot of this that is going to happen. Stay classy and welcome them into the fold.
The day Donald Trump hit 1275 delegates, is the day excuses ran out.
On that day, every reasonable person had to make the binary choice between Hillary and Trump. All other options were closed.
People who did not support Trump after that day were supporters of Hillary Clinton, whether they admitted it or not.
Fortunately, there were not enough of them in certain states, and Hillary Clinton will never be President.
I do believe that would be Pelousy. At one point the camera was on her, she turned around and appeared to be scolding the people behind her. She reminded me of a mother chastising her children.
Karl Rove is an arrogant fat toad; I never see Dick Morris anymore.
President Trump will defeat each of his arcane hateful press detractors, one by one. Only those who make genuinely objective criticism of our president will be left to continue.
Lutz saw the hand, tracing its story on the wall, and the presidential creation was a world he wants into. Many will be taken in this way. Also many will lose their jobs, having gone one hate too far.
I had strong reservations about DJT. A lot of it was based on appearances, some on substance. He supported Kelo, for instance. He does not seem to have any firm principles, just impulses. I do not favor economic protectionism.
Still, Mr. Trump has been a pleasant surprise, and a very solid conservative president. I voted for him because he is immeasurably preferable to Hillary Clinton and the continuation of the project to fundamentally transform America.
I have no financial stake in admitting that Trump has been a very pleasant surprise, and has accomplished much more than a more "moderate", iow timid, president could have. In that sense I was wrong. I admit it. But only to acknowledge Trump's success, not out of prospect of personal gain.
