Lou Dobbs: Our chief correspondent at the White House, John Roberts, telling us that the new version of the memorandum has been altered in some ways by the White House review. Five professional members of the FBI were at the White House to meet with the Chief of Staff John Kelly to got through that.
I’m calling BS on this.
Don’t THINK so.
The reconciliation of both documents sure will tell the story after they alter it.
If I heard it from Greg Jarrett, I might believe it but John Roberts???? Not so fast.
This is easy.
If the White House alters it, Rep. Nunes should release the original.
I agree... Its not their (or Kelly’s) document to edit... I’m calling BS.
Release the freakin memo and stop the drama already.
if you go to the Video at the link ...the FBI still issued that statement after this happened and the White House is scratching its head as to why they still released that statement today
It wouldn’t be much effort to un-redact their BS. Oh so sorry for incompetence, which is being very nice and pulling punches, as it is still going to be shown to the world.
Even IF it was true then I would expect WH lawyers involved and not just Kelly dealing with 5 FBI agents. Again I asked this in another thread: Why would Trump hold back information that would exonerate him and his team and not point out malfeasance against the very investigators that started this bogus scandal?
Chief of Staff John Kelly let them alter the memo with invisible ink.
By “altered” do they mean redacted some items? If the President has to review the memo before he okays it’s release, can he okay the release of most of the memo but not okay some portions? Perhaps that is what is meant by the White House “altering” the memo?
Fake
Naming five names would be a good start on “reporting”...
The House knows exactly what they sent. Any change to the meaning will be exposed immediately.
Probably fake news, but if it’s true that means there are two versions of the memo that will never see the light of day.
I’m calling BS too. If they want to add an accompanying document that covers their concerns over “omissions” .
