I don't post here much any more, but there seems to be a gap in the discussions on twitter about this subject from "Last Refuge," "Tom Paine," and "Jim Hoft." Freepers seem to be more clued into some of what I'm about to say.
While everyone is focused on the Memo, the Inspector General Report, and Fusion GPS (and general FBI corruption), I think a powerful connecting link to much, perhaps all, rests in two locations: the House vault where they keep the payouts on the sex harassment funds, and the computer files of the Awans.
Consider that when news of the harassment fund came out, it was stated that there were 145 settlements from 2007 to 2017. Obviously, one person could have been responsible for 3 or 4 of these, but say it's "one grope per customer." So, 145 cases since 2007.
Allow for normal House turnover in five elections. As you know, the turnover isn't that high: it's only a handful of districts that really see any turnover. So let's just say for sake of math that 15 congressmen and women who were named were removed via elections. That leaves us with 130.
Out of that 130, let's just pretend that in fact the "retiring" GOP and Ds in fact have been named in the settlements. That leaves 92 cases yet to have a name attached---and remember, so far, ONLY A COUPLE of those who have announced they are leaving have had any connection to harassment. But for sake of argument, say the majority of them were NOT leaving just to "spend more time with their families".
If we assume that Ds and Rs are pretty evenly split in their groping, that means that of the 65 original R names on the list, 31 are gone, and of the 65 D names, only 7 are gone.
This looks very suspicious, and while it all could be innocent, it sure has the appearance of people being blackmailed to leave. By whom, though?
Who had access to who was in the list? The Awans. Do they have it now? Are they somehow involved? Or did they turn it over to their Dem buddies?
Moreover, what ELSE did they have access to? While they wouldn't have access to FBI servers, they WOULD have access to every email sent FROM the FBI to any of their congressional Deep State allies trying to take down Trump.
We saw in the Iran-Country how this works: Reagan was exonerated due to the fact that Ollie North had sent multiple circulated memos through the chain of command ending with Poindexter. Reagan was on the list, but no memo was ever produced by anyone with Reagan's initials or checkmark on it indicating he saw it.
What I'm saying is, the Awans or someone associated with them or someone who had received access to their stolen files "appears" to be blackmailing Republican members of congress to leave, and moreover, the Awans' files likely contain a treasure trove of just who is controlling this and for what reason, and would almost certainly contain correspondence from the FBI about certain, er, indiscretions.
The CIA, FBI and Clapper’s former org seem more likely to have had access to this info and acted on it.
Open the files! Sunlight will disinfect the criminality of ALL in our Government! If some are on our side, so be it! But BOTH SIDES need to be exposed for their malfeasance!
Interesting analysis. Expanding beyond the legislative branch: did the Awans have access to information on Bill and Hillary’s extramarital activity or Obama’s bathhouse adventures? What about the judicial branch?

Are the Awans blackmailing GOP congress members to leave?
Awans had linked computers from Congress to Clinton Foundation. Capitol Police took the computers that were left on premises. DWS wanted the computers returned. As far as anyone knows the computers were never Forensically searched.
Awans Case(s) were quickly rushed to court. They entered inital pleas of not guilty. This basically stops all inquiry as lawyers are involved. The case keeps being postponed. Probably will be postponed for another year or so. Thus no one will ever seen the evidence. When all is said and done, case will plead to a minor infraction and fines. No one will ever see the computers unless the DOJ gets involved. So far they have done nothing. As it stands it is a case of fraudulent bank documents used to make loans. Probably not even a felony.
Someone needs to awaken Sessions to the massive criminality that is/has happened under his own nose!
Additionally, there is much valuable data in memory. If the systems were shut down before memory could be dumped, that data is not going to be available for analysis.
At least three of the GOP “retirees” barely won their 2016 elections and are almost certain to lose in 2018.
Also, Trey Gowdy, who announced his retirement today, is clearly campaigning for a vacant federal judgeship in South Carolina.
It's entirely possible that Trump and Gowdy have already discussed that.

In any event, I am always skeptical about mass conspiracies.
Probably half the GOP retirees were millionaires BEFORE they ran for Congress.
So, if they had deep dark personal secrets, why would they take the risk of Deep State blackmail by running for Congress?
The House of Representatives is not exactly a glamor job.
I’m a political junkie, and I can’t name 25 current members of the House.
