The Legislative Branch only applies to the Legislative body and not the POTUS who is in the Executive Branch.
I don’t know why the pundits think that there is a contradiction in Trump releasing the memo today and his riding the positive wave created by his speech. I think releasing the memo today would be a re-affirmation of him and his leadership. Trump and his leadership are more important than a speech. Strike while the iron is hot.

I do too. If you simply read them as he sends them, with no media spin, they're almost all spot on.
However, whatever he says is spun by the media as racist, sexist, homophobic, or all the above. He could Tweet: "Mother Theresa was great", and the spin would be that he's a misogynistic cultist white racist. He needs to cool the tweets for a day or two in order to avoid giving the media an excuse to change the subject.

I agree but doing so, which I wholeheartedly support, would be contrary to his message of creating “unity” between both parties. Watching last night, I DO NOT see any demodummie “unity” on the horizon. So........RELEASE THE HOUNDS and read the damn report to the WORLD.

I think he may be considering what it would do to the stock market. It’s been down the past two days, up today and maybe the Dow would react negatively. Perhaps Friday late?
