The CEO of the Democratic National Committee is leaving after less than a year on the job, NBC News has learned.
Veteran Democrat operative Jess O’Connell took the helm of the DNC last May with a mandate to help newly installed Chairman Tom Perez turn around a troubled party organization that was struggling after years of neglect and a brutal 2016 that included accusations of favoritism in the primary between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, the hacking of internal emails, and the loss to President Donald Trump.
O’Connell will leave the party stabilized, if not yet fully recovered, after wins last year in Virginia and Alabama, and her decision to leave is a personal one, a DNC official told NBC News, timed to cause minimal disruption ahead of November's midterm elections

I heard the Democrats are broke. Fundraising is way off, which complicates their plans for the mid terms.
They will have to make some tough decisions about where to allocate resources.
And there’s not just Congressional elections, but most states are electing governors and state legislatures in November as well. A broke Democrat party will have lots of tough decisions to make about where to spend money.
I believe that the memo should show a trail that leads right through the DNC and back to Hillary. I can dream that it is all in there can’t I?

O’Connell has helped raise millions of dollars for progressive issues, candidates, and causes throughout her career, including work in development positions with EMILY’s List and the Children’s Defense Fund. She is also the founder of Youth Trek, an organization that works with youth in Washington, D.C., to promote the character development and self-discovery of underserved girls through travel experiences and access to women leaders. O’Connell holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an M.B.A. from the University of Denver.
Back in 1992, Bill and Hillary began to take in all the demoncratic donations and did not spread them around the party where others could benefit from a nice outlay.
She was building a warchest for her future run as president.
So, it is safe to say that the severe neglect is well over 25 years old.
She wanted it all.
She is like the ostrich in the Old Testament who lays her eggs and then is so unmindful that she steps on every egg before they hatch, keeping them from coming to life.
