The Senate failed this evening to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which wouldve banned abortions after 20 weeks, after Democrats filibustered the bill. In a 5146 vote, the bill failed to make it out of debate and to a final floor vote.

It would be great to have a conservative political party that attempted to do what it was elected to do. Its just not going to happen. The politicians wont allow new parties to access the ballot let alone flourish. An example youre familiar with is the LP. Its been around since 1971 and theyr e still on the never ending hamster wheel of ballot access. There will always be insurmountable roadblocks thrown in their way. Because thats what politicians do when they want to stay in power.
The dilemmas this country faces are primarily spiritual and cultural. Politics is a suckers game. And like any other suckers game the only way to win is not to play.
McCain is back?? How unfortunate. Especially for the unborn.
I see the newly minted rat Senator from Alabama, evil Mr Jones, voted with the Satanist.
Not surprised at all. And if it werent them some other Designated Mavericks would take their places.
The gop has been in power several times since 1973. They have had countless opportunities to meaningfully restrict or end infanticide. They havent done so. Were coming up on 45 years since Roe vs Children. Thats long enough to judge a strategy.
Politics is a suckers game.
When did the filibuster happen? I didnt see a filibuster.
Besides, I think our tax dollars would be much much much more effective if we offered anybody ten kilobucks to voluntarily get snipped. Many problems solved
RNC, keep that in mind next time you send me some crap in my mailbox asking for money...or have some boiler room phone operator dialing my cell or house phone.
get rid of the filibuster.
If the LIFE of the UNBORN really mattered to the Church in New England, they would have done away with at least one of their 12 Pro-abort Senators
All 12 are 100% NARAL ProAbort
Zero prolife
There will always be another delay, another excuse, another reason why we get thisclose to seeing some meaningful results. But never do.
This year will be 45 years since Roe vs Children. If the politicians ever had any intent of ending this, they would have already done so. Were being scammed. Politics is a suckers game.
oooops....never mind.....he was “absent”.....in more ways than one
Drop dead
Soon enough. In the mean time Ill continue to call out politics as the scam that it is.
Cannot believe Murkowski got a free ride in the 16 primary
McCain has a 100% prolife voting record
He also voted No on both Kagan & Sotomayer
Baby killing RINOs Murkoski and Susan Collins voted with the democrat baby killers.
Whats telling about this issue is the necessity of euphemisms like pro-choice to sanitize an horrific procedure. Its the object of that particular choice that abortion advocates avoid discussing.
The dims are complicit in the killing of innocent babies. Just as bad as Herod.
I think folks think the libertarians have a few good ideas but they’re weird. There is incentives for disgruntled conservatives to stop worrying about Rhinos and whether or not they support a conservative agenda. i think of abortion and illegal, immigartion for two issues.
Let us recall that Collins did not face A primary challenge in 14. And no third party candidate in nov
They are women whose allegiance to their own sexual identity compel them to accept that womens rights trump any rights that an unborn child might have.
Agreed.
