No institution is immune to corruption, and even institutions that are generally clean have plenty of corrupt players inside.

It may well take military action upon those fed departments to clean them properly. Imagine a military occupation, continual observation and investigation with forensics. With a weekly visit by Trump himself.
So if this activity was going on then I'm not surprised.
Looks like the administration is avoiding these Sunday shows. Why go on and argue for 20 mins when you can twitter.

Or course Trump discussed getting rid of Mueller. This morning, so far, on Meet the Depressed, we’ve had the kicked-out-of-the-white-house awful man Lindsay Grahm. Also had a little sound byte from John McCain, who’s barely alive.
Got the jerks from the former Watergate crew all opinionating.

Because Trump was THINKING of something? Because he discussed something with his lawyer?
Had to come up with something to eliminate the good news from Davos,
Gowdy screwed up the Benghazi investigation. He is an amnesty supporter.
Top of the 6am hour on CNN, and 7am too, usually contains a fairly reliable summary of the talking points and spin for the day. Very little effort made to nuance or "hide" the raw BS angle.
Because Mueller is about to interview Trump and it is a distraction from everything else that is going on, including the Nunes memo.

Well, yes.
I accidently turned on the TV, which I use to almost only watch recorded content and Netflix, Amazon, etc. and it was for some reason switched to the cable box, and the hideous, giant face of Linda Graham appeared on the TV. Switched to OFF as fast as possible.
Later realized the last thing I did on that TV was watch Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Friday night, hence the ABC network was selected.
If it ws going to leak, in part, it would have done so already. We do have the top level story, which is FBI actions for Clinton and against Trump were politically biased (and not "small potatoes" stuff either) both before and after the election.
We also know the DEM counter-narrative in broad strokes. "The evidence has an innocent explanation," and "this isn't 100% proof." As if they need 100% proof of Russian collusion or Trump obstruction!
The memo will come out in good time. From my point of view, it is an opening shot. Bigger and more persuasive material coming later. People will have to choose sides.

Anyone who considers Graham a big time friend instead of going after his job like Gowdy should have done is personna non grata to me.

When you break Gowdy down he talks really big, can put people on the spot but little ever actually happens on his part.

LOL. Depends on the issue. I think the Admin does good when it has an initiative it is advancing, like the 4-point immigration material, or the tax plan, to deliver that material directly.
But for sure, when the press is using the time to magnify some "sources say" allegation, appearing is not just a waste of time, it is counterproductive. Of course the administration is defensive when confronted with a misleading or false narrative, and the press will spin the defense into a tacit admission that the narrative is accurate.
Most dishonest people on the planet.
