ANN ARBOR, MI – The Thomas More Law Center (“TMLC”), a national nonprofit public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, filed a federal lawsuit yesterday evening in the New Jersey District Court against several officials and teachers of the Chatham Middle School and the School District of the Chathams, located in New Jersey.
The lawsuit, claiming several violations of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, was filed on behalf of Libby Hilsenrath and her minor son. Seventh-grade students at Chatham Middle School were forced to endure Islamic propaganda and an explicit call to convert to Islam through a disturbing set of videos in their World Cultures and Geography class.
TMLC’s affiliated New Jersey attorney, Michael Hrycak, filed the lawsuit. TMLC staff attorney, Kate Oliveri, the principle drafter of the federal complaint, observed: “The Board of Education and other Defendants are waging a war against the religious protections afforded by the First Amendment. They attack religious liberty by enticing young school children with a direct call to convert to Islam and providing a step-by-step guide on how to effect that conversion.”
One of the videos, linked in this press release, seeks to convert students to Islam and is filled with the Islamic religious beliefs presented as facts, as well as pure Islamic propaganda. This five-minute video ends with the prayer “May God help us all find the true faith, Islam. Ameen.”

What is most worrisome here is that so, so many kids today are NOT given any teaching in Christianity, or Judaism. They are sitting ducks, with a vacuum in their souls which needs to be filled. This is what causes them to fall for false religions.
A “true faith” based on murder, theft, and rape. Mohammed was a criminal mastermind and a fraud - he never healed or rescued anyone.
I noticed in the video they fail to mention Islam is still stuck in the middle ages.
On a positive note, Islam is so blatantly anti-female even liberal snowflakes can’t stomach it. As in Holland, eventually all white liberals will have to face some uncomfortable truths about Islam. France already outlawed the she-ninja masks in public schools; now Quebec is pushing to ban them in public places.
Why would a public school call Islam the one true faith? Have they lost their minds there?
This enemy muslim crap was going on when I was coaching baseball at public schools in LA area 6-8 years ago. As far as I know it’s continued.

I would love to see the Religious make up of the faculty at that school.
I don’t get it. If a student walks into a public school in the U.S carrying a bible and reads from it—even just to themselves—she or he can be suspended, detained and/or arrested. How in hell does the left justify inculcating Islam into the curriculum, while at the same time criminalizing Christianity? Does it think the taxpayers will not notice? Who are the a**wipes sitting on the school boards in these counties?

Long ago, if you wanted to learn Arabic and picked up a bunch of index cards with translations, it ALWAYS had words to convert you/from the Koran.
That’s because these issues are first and foremost political issues, not religious issues.
From the ACLU’s perspective, they favor Islam not because they’re fond of the religious tenets of Islam, but because anything that brings down traditional Judeo-Christian, Western Civilization is automatically a political ally. It’s the old maxim, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
Of course, those alliances never really work out, do they. Look how grateful Stalin was after we saved his butt during WW2.
Some day, one day soon I hope, an Islamic militant will behead a traditional western lefty, maybe a gay member of the EU. Then the left will be faced with the obvious dilemma — who would you rather have as your next door neighbor, a devout evangelical Christian or a devout Muslim?
And that was the plan. The 40 year war to remove religion from the public discourse, homes and lives of children was done with this in mind. It is hard to change the beliefs of someone, but if they have no beliefs to begin with it is easy to teach them yours.
