U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has vehemently denied a rumor started by “Fire and Fury” author Michael Wolff that she is having an extramarital affair with President Trump, calling the allegations that she slept her way to the top “disgusting” and “highly offensive” to women in power.
“It is absolutely not true,” Mrs. Haley told Politico in an interview published Friday.
“But it goes to a bigger issue that we need to always be conscious of: At every point in my life, I’ve noticed that if you speak your mind and you’re strong about it and you say what you believe, there is a small percentage of people that resent that and the way they deal with it is to try and throw arrows, lies or not,” she said.
Mr. Wolff started the rumor last week during an appearance on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” declaring that he was “absolutely” certain that the president is cheating on first lady Melania Trump. He didn’t accuse Mrs. Haley explicitly in his book, but said discerning readers would easily be able to pick up on his hints now that they knew what to look for.

Can you imagine what CNN would do to anyone who accused a prominent female democrat of “sleeping her way to the top”?
As many of them undoubtedly have — and numerous journalists too, I believe.
I noticed Trump hater Maggie Habermann was totally silent during the MeToo hysteria when journalists were getting fired left and right. Given her buxom figure, I have no doubt she got a lot of inappropriate attention from male reporters when she was a junior reporter. Yet we heard no war stories from her. Obviously, she didn’t want to destroy those who agreed with her politically.

Not at all unattractive. But she’s not “hot” or sexy or buxom — stuff DJT seems to go for.

And poor Melania, having to endure so much crap about her husband and family.

Michael Wolff is a worse human being than Nancy Pelosi and 99% of the rest of the ‘liberals’... he’s like the bottom of the barrel of the bottom of the barrel... worst of the worst.

Fake news. Trump isn’t that stupid, especially since Nikki Haley has a reputation, deserved or not, for extramarital affairs. There were those unexplained phone calls or texts.
She ought to sue him for slander.

Being a South Carolinian, I can recall Nikki being accused of an extramarital affair when she was running for governor.
Remember the Reagan years with Iran-Contra and Oliver North? When the news media saw Fawn Hall, they immediately forgot about Iran-Contra and went looking for a nonexistent “affair” between North and Hall.
She was hot!
Yes. In this case they were probably trying to slime Trump. Haley was either collateral damage or viewed as a two-fer.
When does the POS wolff get nailed to the wall for slander or defamation? The POS needs to be buried.
He sure does deserve to be nailed and I’d love to see Amb. Haley be the one to do it.

I don’t like Nimrata Randhawa either, she slept around on her husband herself and took down the Confederate flag.
Not exactly who I would want defending me against affair allegations.
