Conservative stalwart Bill Kristol stepped up his attacks on Tucker Carlson, calling his former employees Fox News show close to racism and ethno-nationalism of some kind.
In an interview with CNBCs John Harwood that aired Thursday, Kristol stopped short of calling Carlsons primetime show racist, but said the shows content came close.
He had always a little touch of Pat Buchananism, I would say, paleo-conservativism, Kristol said of Carlson. But thats very different from what hes become now.
I mean, it is close now to racism, white I mean, I dont know if its racism exactly but ethno-nationalism of some kind, lets call it. A combination of dumbing down, as you said earlier, and stirring peoples emotions in a very unhealthy way.
Carlson was quick to respond mostly with befuddlement.
Im not even sure what hes accusing me of. He offers no evidence or examples, just slurs, and then suggests that Im the demagogue, Carlson told TheWrap. Pretty funny. Kristols always welcome on my show to explain himself, though I assume hes too afraid to come. What a shame. It would be revealing.

Fixed it...😀
THE archetypal RINO, in the Sans-A-Belt wing.
“Conservative stalwart Bill Kristol...”
since when? Under what definition? First 4 words a lie...
Conservative stalwart....stopped right there.
...ethno-nationalism of some kind.
Bill Kristol supports ethno-nationalism for his own ethnic group.
Why racist? He has lots of radical blacks and illegal enablers on, regularly! Is it his fault that his questions smoke out what they really are?

Of course it’s his fault./s
.
Agreed. They pull the “racism” card to bully people into supporting open borders and globalism.
No he isn't. He's a smart guy whose magic act has collapsed and he doesn't yet grasp how or why.
I did too, but that was over 20 years ago. I’ve known not to trust him for the last 20 years.
Neo-cons. What don’t they know?
Yeah exactly.
Yup
Kristol was.
The Weekly Standard was
The neocon phenomenon. More like pseudo-conservatives. They made conservative-sounding noises until Trump was elected, then jumped ship.
He’s but one of the public faces of the social liberal military-industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us about. John McCain is another. There are several more. Note that they’ve all gone completely off the rails regarding Trump or anyone who remotely supports him.
“Crimson”? More like pink.
Ditto
If Kristol had any honor at all, he would accept Carlson’s challenge and defend himself and accuse Carlson in person of what he is saying behind his back.
