A bombshell four-page "FISA memo" alleging egregious surveillance abuse by the FBI, DOJ and Obama administration, specifically names FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former FBI Director James Comey and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, according to the Daily Beast.
The GOP-authored memo made waves last week after it was made available to the full House of Representatives for viewing. With over 60 GOP lawmakers calling for its release, Capitol Hill sources on both sides of the aisle tell The Daily Beast that it's only a matter of time before the general public is allowed to view the document - which is likely to stoke already-inflamed tensions between GOP lawmakers and the individuals named in the leak.

There may be some confusion on this. Every classified document was produced by someone who deemed the classification based on classification guidance documents. Only the classifier or one higher up in that classifier’s chain of command (I think) can declassify it. Since the President is not in Congress’ chain of command, and the memo was produced by Congress, I am not sure the President can declassify it.
We heard wind yesterday that the President’s office said that they don’t legally have to sign off on the Congressional release for it to be released. If that is not FakeNews, it would be because of the above argument. I am no expert, plus we are in new territory.
It’s so ironic that a fraudulent document was used by Obama to keep his presidency and to attack a presidency, and both instruments of a law firm he hired.
For anyone who mocked birthers, well, you can’t say we didn’t warn you. The sob was a communist fraud.
What does this make the so called 'conservatives' and at large Republicans? They did nothing to pull the masked off this criminal alien. Republicans in Congress gave him every dime + he wanted and darn near made the USA citizens his slaves.

I think I heard that if the President doesn’t sign the committee recommendation within five days, it goes to the full house for a vote who can then declassify it. Not sure if I got that right.

The other variant I heard is that, if the President does NOT object in 5 days, it is released. If he does object, it goes to the full Congress.
