Believe me - I hope I’m wrong. But...I have extensive experience dealing with “situations” like this, and I have NO faith in the objectivity of Mueller or his team or the DC grand Jury. The name of their game is to find something to nail Trump with. My guess is that their aim is impeachment, rather than criminal conviction.

I have warmed to Trump. But, he has some major flaws (as do we all), and his main one is his “self confidence” that he can beat Mueller at Mueller’s game on Mueller’s home field. He also “overstates” his case - dangerous while under oath.

Nor do I .. but what I DO have faith in his our President and 'the force' that gave him this job.
He's neither a politician nor a fool, but exactly the sort that many of the Founders envisaged for the role of Chief Executive.

Many 'free lawyers' here on FR tonight seem to think that prosecutors are somehow bulletproof, when they're most assuredly not.
Scores of them are defeated every single hour of every single court day in the US.

Imho, President Trump didn't agree to this deposition out of hubris.
He's privy to things that we simply have no current knowledge of, and I can only trust he'll use that knowledge to best protect himself and our Nation.
