Just heard Sen Van Holland talk about this on PBS. The RAT plan is to get the bill out of the Senate and use town halls to force a vote in the House.
well yea, that’s easy to say. but what about the other pro-amnesty scumbags like McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Isakson, Johnson, Toomey, Rounds, Thune, Barasso and Enzi. They may have enough to override a veto ...
No more anchor babies.
No more gment bennies for non-citizens.
No hiring illegals.
E-verify.
Ryan’s promise for the vote on Goodlatte bill could be a trap!
If it passed that would open the door for recon-sillyation. Senate RINO’s have enough votes to override a veto (and if Ryan really isn’t going to run for reelection this year, then he could be willing to try for an override tooo) Ryan could easily get 200 dems + 50R from Tuesday group less 30 (freedom caucus) against which means he only needs about 25% of the remaining 165 or so R’s to get the override. Only way to fight that is a motion to vacate the speakership but i doubt the FC has the balls for that.....
Yes he is, and I dont get it either. And I know hes smart enough not to overlook these things. Im thinking he will get to them eventually I hope! Are haps hes just waiting for the right time.If not I will be sorely disappointed and feel like I have been lied to. Yet again.
Sittin on the DACA the bay
Watchin these slime give our country away
They all work, get paid under the table so their income is invisible, and collect welfare on top of it. They pool their money and live in a nicer home than you. At least, thats how it works in my neighborhood.
No Joke. I think Mcturle could have passed this CR with a 51 vote threshold (like he did in december) which could have included funding for the wall.We got screwed.
I hope you’re wrong about a pos immigration bill cuz i think Trump would veto it and a house override vote would be very close (along with the end of Ryan’s speaker career)
Since the congress previously funded the wall , maybe there’s way the president can use an executive order to do construction without further congressional action ,,, but i’m not sure about that......
