You don't need me to tell you that Democrats just caved when it comes to ending the government shutdown; even some of their leading senators are admitting it. Here's Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.), a potential 2020 Democratic presidential candidate:
“I don’t believe he made any commitment whatsoever and I think it would be foolhardy to believe he made a commitment.” Cc: Democratic leadership.
Here's another critic, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.):

Without a fully funded Wall, this is going nowhere. Don’t care what McConnell, Schumer and the rest of the idiots in the Senate do. Without full funding, Trump will veto and then every Senator has to go on record for an override. And it wouldn’t be Trump’s fault.

The Dems figured out they were opposing something that they don’t oppose so it’s difficult to shut down government and defend it.
Making a shutdown over illegal aliens is a dumb idea. Did not understand it, unless the dems thought that the pubs would act like weenies like they usually do.
I’d be okay with the law-abiding and productive young adults staying as foreign residents/green cards-but NO citizenship-as long as they join the military or have served in it, speak English, have no criminal record/no gang bangers-have a job and do not receive public assistance. But their parents/rest of the family are still lawbreakers and they should be deported post haste-if the “dreamers” want to stay with their parents, they can go back to Mexico, Somalia, Trashcanistan-wherever they are from and good riddance...

They would have already voted for an amnesty bill.
At least two votes for amnesty.
And do it in an election cycle.
Will not be a smart vote for ANY Senator up for re-election
from a State Trump won be it a RAT or Republician.

Just a couple days ago Kamala Harris made a Facebook post about how the Republicans were the one's causing the shut down and how terrible they were to do it....and she got thrashed in the comments section, badly. Her supporters were drowned out by people pointing out that they knew damn well it was the Democrats who had orchestrated the shut down. A few idiot supporters of hers tried to argue that it must be the Republicans causing it because they have the majority...and they got jumped on too for not understanding how it works.
Its harder for them to get away with big lies these days. Congrats to those of us in the grass roots callling out the B.S.

All the Dems have to do is not agree on a deal and then they get a straight DACA vote—that is, without any concessions on the other side!
I agree except for this, If they served, they get the vote. If you’re willing to raise your right hand and head downrange, you deserve a say on who sends you there.

When we had a Constitution and the protections of the natural born citizen clause, she was not eligible.

I agree that they should be able to become citizens if they are willing to serve-they have certainly shown more willingness to serve and protect the US than the snowflake/metrosexual “men” have...
The “bonus” of ruining PDJT’s one year anniversary may have been the number one reason for doing it on Saturday. Did the Dems think that Trump would go to Mar-A-Lago anyway? Ha! Finally we have a fighter on our side.
