Five months worth of Peter Strzok text messages go missing

Additional text messages sent and received by disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok have been handed over Congress, reports the Associated Press.

But the department also said in a letter to lawmakers that its record of messages sent to and from the agent, Peter Strzok, was incomplete because the FBI, for technical reasons, had been unable to preserve and retrieve about five months’ worth of communications.

Nixon was impeached over 18 minutes of missing tape recordings.

Five months of messages, in our backed=up computer age is open defiance of legal process and investigation. So is 30,000 (more or less) yoga e-mails.

“The FBI is an incompetent, corrupt organization that simply should be disbanded.”

I get your point but Nixon was not impeached.

Didn’t Strzok have two cells, one for his work and wife, another for his girlfriend?
Wouldn’t that be something if they knew the texts existed, but they disappeared there as well?

Odd how, whenever it looks like the Democrats are going to be called to account, the evidence somehow disappears.
FBI management, Comey, McCabe, Strzok ... law enforcement officers. What a joke.

Rogers has not left. Not til 2019. Still there and doing the right thing vs. clapper, brennan, comey, rice, powers and the other FISA warrant liar/fakerc. This was all done by Rosenstein to protect his pal Mueller and the rapidly unwinding truth of a fake premise counsel and a faked out AG to recuse himself from the same fake setup.

With the all but verified data capture capabilities now possessed by various intelligence agencies, I’d say they’re gambling that this transparent attempt to hide the salami might fly with no further repercussions, and that the damage to the bureau as well as assorted individuals due to this ridiculous ploy will possibly be less and certainly no worse than just releasing the supposedly “lost” text messages. Nail them, they’re lying through their teeth again.

“Just an innocent mistake.” That is what was said about Mueller’s FBI when it was his time to leave. Viz.:

Mueller exits FBI after 12 turbulent years - USA Today

Aug 1, 2013 - Less than two months before the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, Robert Mueller was sitting before a Senate panel defending the FBI in the wake of a series of costly blunders. ...

I like to keep that one handy, too.

If I may Captain Obvious, several folks need federal prison sentences in excess of 40 years.

20 years ago chat rooms were forced to keep at least a year of chats because many hackers would go online to brag after a DOS attack (for example). The carrier will have back ups, the NSA would have them. If they disappeared at the NSA, find the access logs, last person with access before disappearance goes to prison. Or at least let the prosecution begin there.

Yes, but still need at least the meta data to know where to look for all the other side texts.

Of course, there should be copies of that floating around too.

QANON made the point this past week that these guys were stupid, not realizing (despite the business they’re in) all the copies of their comms that are out there.

It’s beginning to look like we should seriously examine disbanding the FBI/CIA/DOJ/?!

They have reason to think it's a good gamble. Have Hillary's missing emails during the Benghazi period ever been found?

Who “lost” it? Another criminal no doubt. Take your pick of the various smug thug criminals at our DOJ/FBI shown below:

Weeks ago Travis Mcgee started posting the Smug shots of the seditionist thugs in the DOJ/FBI shown below.

""If I have the honor of being confirmed by the Senate,'' Mueller told the panel, "I will make it my highest priority to restore the public's confidence in the FBI and to re-earn the faith and trust of the American people.''"

Thanks for that link. The above quote from same should be weaponized and used to drive Weasel Mueller from the field. Now I can easily find when needed.

Just like Lois Lerner’s emails. They said they were deleted. ‘Then they said there were no backup tapes, then they said all the hard drives in her unit had melted down, then they destroyed the tapes by “accident”.

Since the FBI is willing to bring in outside “contractors” to view 702 data, they should bring in outside contractors to see if they can find these missing texts.

The FBI has gotten too big and too dangerous. It should be cut up into a half dozen separate pieces.
