All signs are it’s a poorly executed movie. I’m never obligated to see a movie, especially if it’s no good.
One war movie doesn’t fix the problem.
Part of the point of being a conservative is not marching to someone’s drum. That’s who liberals are. Don’t tell me what I have to do to be a conservative.
And I noticed they changed the facts for dramatic purposes. So what am I supposed to go do see a fantasy movie about the way Hollywood thinks it should have been?
I never complain about movies. I go to one if it interests me - “Lego: Ninjago” was cute - and not if it doesn’t. The calls to “support” this film or that confuse me. Shouldn’t an entertainment product speak for itself, without someone’s calling for people pay for tickets even if they don’t want to see it?
Forget it Jake, it’s still Hollyweird/the National Felons League/Targheyt.

I saw it in liked it but I do think that Black Hawk Down and The Lone Survivor were probably better.

Why should I believe that Hollyweird would produce anything positive about anything
But my opinion is different. I go to movies for entertainment, not for critical acclaim or political argument. An escape from the isolation of living in the country on a cattle farm. It is a welcome respite from the hard work on the farm.
I don't read reviews or go based on how "perfect" a movie is. If it is entertaining, it has done its job for me.
But for those who don't like Hollywood or certain actors or or an imperfect storyline or "just because", I think you are missing an excellent movie telling a story that most Americans don't even know about.
It is about American troops motivated by the attacks on 9/11, patriotic to their country and willing to give their lives to protect our freedoms. Against all odds of surviving and returning home, these 12 men miraculously all survived and accomplished their mission in a mere three weeks when their commanders thought it would take two years. Al-Qauda has publicly stated that the key battle in the film was their worst defeat ever.
This movie is very patriotic and sends a positive message to the young men and women of America that joining the military is a noble cause. Even though it is a shoot-em-up war movie, it is uplifting and reflects America in a good light. Something to be proud of.
I saw the movie Friday afternoon at a matinee after I finished a medical appointment at the VA in the big city. I thought it was excellent. The mostly older folks in the audience gave the movie a round of applause when it ended. It brought tears to my eyes at certain times. It was an excellent movie. I recommend it highly.
Jumanji kicked it’s butt landing in first place again. Oh well Conservatives never learn. Is it any wonder that Hollywood doesn’t make conservative movies, they won’t go as proved on this thread actually. Complaining is easier just like Republicans in Congress who can’t lead anything at all but can punch their chest like they are something while in the minority.

I went to see the movie the first day it was out and it is
GREAT, everyone should see it, it shows the Tals kill three little girls mother in front of them because she taught them to read.
I like Agents of SHIELD. Don’t think it is liberal. If anything, the resistance is to Hydra, an entity embedded inside a governing body manipulating and scheming. I consider it Deep State.
When Hydra breaks out and destroys SHIELD, Coulson slowly works to destroy it. This is what Trump is doing now.
