All signs are it’s a poorly executed movie. I’m never obligated to see a movie, especially if it’s no good.

The narrative is weak and the dialogue is disappointing

13 hours or band of brothers you can watch often

This is a good story not very well executed but it’s watchable for sure

I honor and revere our troops, but what’s “conservative” about endless war in Afghanistan? As Trump said when running for president, we’ve blown trillions of tax dollars on mideast wars. Time to fix the US, and stop with the unnecessary wars. Our soldiers should be deployed to protect our own borders, not Agghanistans or Syrias

When did being conservative become all about war? Wars are incredibly expensive, the Bush-Obama wars increased our debt by trillions, while destabilizing the Middle East

The same neocons who can’t spend enough on war say that we can’t afford to pay retirees their social security.

Supporting decent movies is a good thing, but rewarding mediocrity for some social value is liberal at its core. I don’t mind watching a good b-movie at home, but I’m not willing to drop $50 at a theater unless it’s worth it.

Plus, as I told my wife, I’m rather sick of the entire premise after 15+ years at war and our troops being used as pawns by those who opposed everything America was founded upon. Many of our troops and operators are magnificent; the same cannot be said about any of the military leadership. Mattis stands head-and-shoulders above the rest of the perfumed princes, but that’s no true measure.

I hear this movie depicts the Taliban as the vile perverts they are. When I hear our military leaders and politicians say the same, then I’ll get back on the bandwagon. Otherwise, we have no interest in the region worth one drop of American blood.

It is a great movie! Exciting, dramatic, and true! It is extremely well done. Hemsworth is a tour de force! Makes me even more proud to be American! One of the Best war movies in my life. Good versus evil, no attempt at ambivalence.

I saw it the other day and I thought it was lame.

Good movie or not, conservatives generally don’t like being told what they “must” do.
