Shortly after taking office, Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt set out to permanently limit the agencys regulatory power in what he billed as a Back to Basics agenda focusing on cleaning up toxic waste and providing safe drinking water ― but not curbing new industrial pollution.

Scott Pruitt is exerting little used common sense in the EPA..."curbing new industrial pollution? The rules and regs are in place for any new industrial pollution Mr. Kaufman, new ones are not needed at this time.

Mr. Nixon gave the EPA too much power when he created it, or did the agency just amass that power since then?

I think the shut down economics should afford reasons to gut the agency beyond the foul dreams of the socialists. Close offices, kill grants, stop scholarships the list of sensible remedies goes on and on.

I’d like to see the EPA taken back to where it was in the Kennedy Administration.
Non-existant.

That old meanie, Scott Pruitt, is to blame for manufacturing restarting again in the USA, after O’Bozo had shut it down with millions of crazy regulations, the sludge that choked our economy in so many ways.
Meanwhile, the EPA was poisoning the western rivers with mine tailings and killing tons of birds with their ugly wind-energy farms that produce practically no energy in the winter when people need it to stay warm. It is astonishing that the Huffington Post still believes in the Worst President Ever, but then some people followed Charles Manson, too.
